Elemental Master has some really killer music juxtaposed against some charmingingly amateurish illustrations. I love it.
(also, this fellow left Gens’s input display on when recording the video lol)

post-ps4 launch curse
because paying 60bucks for that opening didn’t feel like it was worth it alone?
Since the game itself, uh…
I dig the NMH:TSA intro mainly because of the rapid style-shifts and energy of the VA. However, I prefer the version in the original reveal trailer slightly more because the temp actors playing the characters generally sell the lines better even if they sound less ‘professional’. Unfortunately it’s a little hard to hear them due to how the audio is mixed. The delivery of the actors in the game’s actual intro is a little subdued by comparison.
Reveal trailer (noisy audio-mixing but arguably better VA)
Final game (more professional but less energy)
i love attract modes so much. the one in robotron 2084 for arcade is fantastic, it gives you details on the plot and tips on how to handle various robot flavors
i was just talking about how i love old arcade tutorials! I HAVE NO IDEA WHY I DIDNT THINK OF THEM AS ATTRACT MODES THOUGH
The actual in-game opening cutscene for World in Conflict is a pretty bad mashup of this trailer, which is way better for it’s juxtaposition of “over there” wars with like american malls and suburbs:
You even get an AUDIOSLAVE cutscene near the end:
seizing the strategically vital food court at the mall to expand the scope of our operations in the area
And people claim they don’t like MW2
wondering when CodBlops, Collarduty et al will turn to a depiction of modern warfare in cyberspace and social media filter-tsunamis, and how that will inevitably turn out to be as exciting as capitalism or cakewalk express.
so yeah, I’d be the Single Customer that’d buy this, EA better gets cracking!
