You can guess what publishers wanted to hear in 2015-2017 but still, you can also guess how much pull this studio should have had to pick their next project. I donāt see how this wasnāt their choice.

I would say that like 80% of both the game devs and tech workers I know these days either a) canāt be bothered to quit a very cushy AAA/FAANG position thatās not really doing much anymore or b) are working on funded projects with a ton of runway that donāt need to ship for a while. thereās just so little getting released at the moment thatās really interesting. bunker economy
