I think my brain has finally been poisoned after buying a PS5 now that the PSVR2 seems to have more exclusives than the base console. Why am I considering buying this? I can’t stand VR.
I have watched this movie and it is such a flaccid experience I forgot there was a scene in which characters unknowingly drink the unending piss of a giant eagle.

My favorite part of this video is describing Angry Birds as “unique and creative” when it’s literally a cartooned-up clone of a Flash game that did well 6 months earlier (Crush the Castle), down to some of the levels even.
Oh wow, I didn’t even know about Crush the Castle.
Get learned (these games own)
So I want to point out the steam page of a random game that popped up today
You can read the game description in the above link box dealie.
To hammer home the focus on architecture, every screenshot on it looks like this:
Then the 50 second long store page vid is just the guy walking around the desert while a disembodied voice rambles on, then the guy walks off the edge of the map and the last 40 seconds of said vid is just watching him fall while the voice basically shouts “architecture” followed by wondering if you really want to spend the hour to see where you land or if you just want to enjoy emptiness for a while.
Checking the thing that tracks concurrent users and this game has seemingly peaked at one, only they will ever truly understand architecture.
That thread is so lovely. Minter tests a fan’s llamatron-like game to help him verify that 32:9 widescreen mode works!
i hope these psvr2 games are only timed exclusives and not like the re7 mode
otoh lmao trailer dubstep karma police chef kiss
melencholy(er?) cover of Karma Police during the lightfall preview
i am also compelled to note the double sad karma police cover following all of the portentous bungee dialog
wait they made karma police sadder? how??
- sung by woman
- slower
- no backing track, then dubstep
i guess a dubstep rager in 2023 is sad in its own way
Wish this human flinging game had slightly less grey environments
