Damn, I’d go to BK if they had that here in the U.S.
If I’m dropping 12 bucks on a fast food burger for a phone game tie in, I’d better be getting some good ass drops on the receipt
All the Burger King locations around here shut down so long ago that I had just naturally assumed the logo must have changed by now, but no, they’re still rocking the old logo
If I’m dropping 12 bucks on a fast food burger for a phone game tie in, it better not be from fucking burger king
it’s…not spicy?
the ad does mention a spicy sauce and some sort of hot flakes (can’t make out the kanji)
oh, ok
They tried an updated circular logo that incorporated blue and white for a couple years but recently went back to the old logo and earthy color scheme. I haven’t seen a recently built restaurant so I’m not sure if those are following suit or not but I’d assume so.
I keep saying I’ve got to get my hands on one of those BK employee polo shirts
edit: Ebay to the rescue, soon I’ll start stealing fast food worker valor
A 70s McDonald’s uniform top has always been one of my thrift store holy grails
i have been repeatedly told throughout my life that many Japanese people find garlic spicy/not enjoyable so i imagine this is why it’s a Garlic burger from Hell
Do you think the true americaboos will visit America town in Osaka to get the full experience
Sudden flashback to characters in the novel Shogun referring to Koreans as “garlic eaters” in a derogatory fashion. I wonder if this was a real thing or a literary invention.
I heard stories growing up that during WW2, Korean POWs were fed kimchi by Japanese soldiers as torture bc it was too spicy for the Japanese. No idea if that actually happened or if it’s just a dumb story, but yeah, I did hear a lot that Japanese people cannot handle Korean spice, so I wouldn’t be surprised if “garlic eaters” was an insult from them.
Burger King makes me feel like garbage every time I eat it.
Burger King is one of my favorite fast food places.
It is better in places where they can serve beer.
I fondly remember getting Tuborg and a whopper several times in Russia.
I wonder if Russia still has BK? probably not.
vancouver burger king interiors always look pillaged and desecrated so going there for a diablo burger feels appropriate
