these are my two go-to examples in illustrating what’s even theoretically supposed to work about it too
sunset overdrive was able to walk this line imo and even then as a “successful” example it wasn’t all that compelling. like, it’s just not ever going to work at that scale. and it’s too broad of an idea to have anything meaningful to say
What is it though. Looks like a Payday iteration maybe? If the pitch is “Creative Assembly makes a Payday” I think I’m sold even if it is lame fake 80s neon
I think it’s a 3v3v3 PVE thing like Hunt Showdown but with Payday objectives.
it’s funny that this is a game about people stealing merch from mars (?) when none of the characters look particularly cool. You figure that people stealing trendy clothes from some kind of purge-OK mall in space would at least dress cool. But they’re stealing sonic merch so maybe they aren’t really cut out for the space hypebeast career? They’re going to steal consumer goods in space and instead of robbing a high end clothing store they’re robbing a Gamestop, and they’re not even stealing games, they’re stealing knicknacks from the weird bins in the front of the shop
so they’re me from middle school, basically
This game looks like shit!!!
there’s definitely an audience for something about lifting gear from sephora, this i can guarantee
far be it from sega 2022 to not miss an entire trick
the idea of a 128GB BDXL MSX game is tantalising
I found the original release a little too overtightened but I have to say I like the idea of More Stuff that’s on my phone for free, this could be pretty good
Seems like a good tablet game, I’d give it a try again
Home Free’s creator announced today that he is ending the project and offering a full refund to anyone that asks.
Anyone that would take him up on the refund is a monster.
The dog that was the inspiration for the game had passed away along with both of his parents.
Agreed TBH I didn’t pledge to it for a guaranteed product, I pledged because I want that energy in the world, and I consider it a good investment either way
I guess all those starry-eyed game devs from the early 90s were right and FMV games were just ahead of their time, cause suddenly everyone wants to make one of these again
What the absolute fuck do these words in this order mean
