Endless Ocean VR when
The most recent Endless Ocean was a pile of crap so hopefully something like it rather than literally it.
I always think they can mentioned the movie and game based on rogue shark is a fake theory published 100 years ago when player open the rom at 21st century.
But they just put full of junk and publish them over and over again.
Keita Takahashi wishing he coulda got some of that Slack money.
NES Jaws was one of those repeat rentals for me. I think that game might kinda rule.
Who else had no idea it actually released?
I had no idea it even existed
I had the same thought. I liked the game but found it a little too repetitive and the minigames slightly too frustrating to keep at it, but now I’m curious about that going to space part mentioned in the interview.
And of course it’s nice to find out what the creator of Katamari Damacy would say when asked for a music recommendation.
Not sure if the game’s lack of marketing is related to the changes at Annapurna Interactive, but Annapurna have often been quietly released game for no reason in the past. I remember Donut County which I only found it released when I was updating apps on my iPhone then saw that it had won an Apple award on opening page.
donut county had so much fanfare on release, especially compared to to a t
I think it’s definitely true that
- Annapurna has gotten less fun/productive to work with than 5 years ago
- games that were funded in part by Apple Arcade (also something that was happening more 5 years ago in the indie space) got way more promo than games that weren’t
Donut County also had an easier sell. Donut County’s pitch is that you’re playing the role of a raccoon who’s a jerk, but not malicious, and an entire cast of characters telling the raccoon that he’s a jerk as he brushes it off. Meanwhile everyone who saw To A T had the same first reaction “OK, so is this game about racism or physical disability?”
Somehow I didn’t know about this at all, damn
I wonder how well this pans out for them outside of the people who compulsively order all their releases, seeing as they said the numbers on the Bill & Ted collection were abysmal when they had it delisted.
well, Jaws is a good game, as opposed to Bill & Ted, which are bad games
The VGHF just preserved SEGA Channel
Internal documents from SEGA are being hosted on VGHF, and the ROMs are being hosted on Gaming Alexandria.
this actually looks good to me now but I have zero attachment to Bungie or Halo or Destiny or Marathon and the last one of these I played at all was Siege almost a decade ago
