I debated making a thread about the fire emblem debacle but it looks like we all internalized the conversation and reached the same conclusion so good job SB thats why I still hang around here. Because weve had every conversation there is to have about video games and just cant even anymore.

Not like this game actually needed to be remastered, but I like the idea of picking up a bird that flew straight into a glass window, healing its wounds and then setting it free to try and fly once more.

KUF is Korean and, therefore, doesnât contain enough pure animes to register as anime on the anime scale

those lines were all really really bad.
Feels like theyâre using City at War as a starting point which sounds like a not bad idea for a turtles game. I also like how Platinum is always finding a reason to keep using Mad World styled chainsaws.

IDW design. Cheap Platinum Cash in? Ugh I donât care, Iâm sold. My irrational love of all things TMNT has me getting this day one. Whoâs playing with me? I call Donny.
I watched like ten hours of Transformers Devastation on stream on the hardest difficulty and, like, that shit was good. It made me wish Iâd grown up with Transformers because of how good the fanservice was. The fifty-something streamer was having a ball and I felt great vicariously. Really obscure character that only you remember? Now they get a badass boss fight. I only barely had exposure to TMNT as a kid, but Iâm incredibly psyched for this.
Devastation was also kind of a fanservice fest for Platinum fans? It functioned as a sort of Platinum Mechanics All-Stars title. Vanquish speed and shooting, Bayonettaâs Witch Time, etc. I wouldnât say itâs high art, but itâs good shit.
Iâd say KUF is more musou than RTS as well.

this looks pleasingly decent (compared to PoE and wasteland 2) â I really like how they went from boring baldurâs gate style combat to a much smaller group of heavily designed turn-based encounters, even if that means the combat may not be consistently the main draw like divinity original sin â but it also seems like exactly the wrong kind of game to play in such an early alpha state.
regardless, I have a much higher degree of confidence in this now than I did a few months ago.
I hope there are alternate turtle costumes/styles because I was never a fan of the face structure of the turtles the way Mateus Santolouco did them on his run of the IDW comic which is what this style mostly looks like. Not that I donât also enjoy cartoony turtles but they just didnât feel like the matched up with everything else around them.
