Based on the title and that talking head teaser I was kind of hoping it had a time travel plot and would just be like, a grand tour of the entire franchise

No word yet on aliens in the campaign, which will probably mostly be shooting spacemans, but a third of Ghosts was the Extinction mode where you shot all kinds of aliens including alien wyverns and leviathans and egg hives. I imagine that will be returning and expanded.
Extinction also had an alternate mode with a DoDonPachi-esque scoring system where the game ended when you broke your chain.
Ghostsā campaign also opened and ended with 6DoF zero-g space shooting.
Hereās hoping they go easy on useless DLC. Kinda hoping for a middle ground of 1 and 2. Ease of unit tactics of 2 but closer to the scale of 1.
Cautiously optimistic that something cool could result from this collaboration:
āInfinite Warfareā does sound hilarious, and I canāt tell if itās intentionally lampshading CoDās status as war propoganda or not. Gameplay-wise, well, I have wanted to see more done with zero g shooters since Shattered Horizon.
Also this is the first song cover in a AAA trailer this year that elicited an immediate negative reaction from me. At least Dark Souls 3 gave me excuse to say āitās for the queers now, sorry bros.ā
