Since weâre around dumb controversies, let me just say that I am against Blizzard getting rid of Tracerâs butt pose in Overwatch
The problem here isnât the pose, but rather that her butt is too nice and clearly, they must remodel her butt, why is she even wearing something skin tight anyway
(They actually have pretty tight logic in their agreement since they arenât getting rid of Widowmakerâs butt pose since it fits the character and why the hell do people care about this pose you see for 5 seconds at the end of a match but here we are.
Man, I hope they didnât get rid of the animation bug where Widowmakerâs butt grows on scoping)

nintendo sucks. people need to stop putting the fucking mickey mouse club on a pedestal. gators are the problem, but itâs not that much smaller of a problem that in 2016 a company who mostly has to brand themselves adequately to sell mascots to grade schoolers winds up the focus of this horseshit.
somehow one of the most institutionally conservative major companies I can think of is also expected to be deftly and avowedly socially progressive. they are gonna shit the bed on stuff like this, and they may or may not offer some meaningless apology later.

there are more progressive places to work on videogames but possibly not if your primary professional interest is being able to talk about anime characters from 15 years ago and Iâm actually not sure itâs reasonable to have it both ways?

i wanna just expand on how i feel a little bit:
i just think itâs important to point out that she has some sketchy views. i am 100% against what gg is doing to her when itâs viewed pulled back (bunch of boys trying to ruin a womanâs life because they didnât get what they want) and i am not comfortable at all that this information came up through digging through her past trying to smear campaign her
but after learning about it i canât ignore the fact that it has come up that she said some very very not cool stuff

yes those posts were made years ago but itâs very very easy to be like âhey i regret that stuff i wrote in the past and it was fucked up and i am wiser now and that does not reflect who i currently amâ but she has not done that so far as i am aware
i wanna make it very clear that i absolutely abhor gg and i am not siding with them at all, but at the same time i canât feel comfortable throwing my support behind someone who has outspokenly campaigned for things that lead to or come from child sexual abuse.
