I think the best thing about CIVIL WAR is that most of Hawkeye’s bits can be read as jokes about how useless he really is.
Also Tony wants to fuck Cap so bad. 
I thought it was pretty funny when black panther broke his bow in half and then he had to just stop being a super hero.
There was 100% less suplexes in this movie than the last and it was not as good.
meanwhile I saw Deadpool and it was both way more serious than I was expecting and less graphically violent and not as many jokes. The jokes there were good. I love Ryan Renolds. But boy there sure are long stretches where the film is dang serious. At least it was only 1:45 so almost an hour shorter than most of these suppahero films.
Xmen Apocalypse looks more fun than bvsdoj or cacv so I think I will watch that next.

I thought they handled an enormous ensemble cast better than most movies ever hope to which is surprising because it’s something superhero movies have struggled with for the last two fuckin’ decades and here’s the russo brothers just making everything work well

im confused because my brother loved Batman Vs. Superman and absolutely hated every single part of Civil War
I waited till the kids were asleep and went to see a late show off Keanu by myself. I still laughed and it was totally worth going. This is the greatest endorsement a dad can give.

I’m not cool with this take, mostly because Turbo Kid seemed to be coming from a place of sincerity where as Kung Fury was steeped in 80s fetishism and randomness masquearding as surrealism

I liked the robot girl and the old man robot, but I like him in everything
