last fm really doesn’t seem to like band names that aren’t written using the latin alphabet

I have always had trouble with auto-renaming and volume normalization applications that I run against MP3s as I integrate them into my collection.
My workaround is to keep the tags accurate but change the file names, but I don’t really like doing that.
But I’ve never had a problem with tags and Last.fm that I remember.

like with what? I listen to lots of stuff that doesn’t use these letters I’m typing with right now and it scrobbles fine, IS EVERYTHING TAGGED PROPERLY

it’s so far had problems with chthonic and onmyo-za, that i ripped from the cds using windows media player, which did the tags automatically

That’s gotta be new, I used to listen to a lot of VVitch House on my old accounts and it all scrobbled just fine.

theres a thread alraedy for posting stats and linking your last fm and for talking about last fm proper. i think this is the thread where you compare your stats with fado or something (i dont mean anythign bad by it i just dont understand!!)
