i know this is probably just like boilerplate roland emmerich lite junk, and was probably in production long before this hell year began, but something about the way this trailer leads in to the disaster spectacle with news reports of people either treating it like a joke or vastly miscalculating the consequences is giving me a lot of serious anxiety, well played trailer editor i guess

Just learned about this movie, which stars Kate Lynn Sheil and Jane Adams!!
I’m looking forward to it. Reminds me of an idea from the first 20 pages of the PKD novel Valis where he fears he’s been contaminated by a death meme. That always really freaked me out.

Seriously though, i am more onboard than i was before watching that trailer, and i think it’s great that they seem to have gotten the main cast together again, by the looks of it.

I rewatched the first movie a couple years ago and kind of wished I hadn’t. There are some clever parts and the overall premise is still good but I guess a lot of the jokes were always kind of bad. I remember liking the sequel more, but I’ve been hesitant to see it again because I don’t want to be similarly disappointed.
