they are in a way worse position to try to stop than Microsoft though (for example, their storefronts etc. do not belong anywhere else), they are really cornered, they canât try to maintain this fictional version of high end thatâs way below a $$$ PC and way above most peopleâs expectation for a console
would have been smarter to just try to ship the DLSS features in the same performance envelope with a shrink and make that the Slim to try to hold the same price point (non-US and non-EU markets are taking even more of a beating than we are)

Iâm telling ya, the PlayStation division of Sony is going to get axed/spun off and acquired by the end of the decade.

MS and Sony are both massive corporations that do many other things and it is not a given that either will see the value in a games division in perpetuity, especially if the way forward theyâre choosing is all-in on the highest risk+reward titles.

i have literally never seen a ps5 in the wild in a store nor have i ever seen it in stock online, the only people i know who have one had to really move heaven and earth to get it within the launch window and since then iâve literally never heard of any place getting one, so the idea that they would release another more expensive one is two vowels and one chris bridges away from being totally ludicrous
i really liked my xbox series x at the time but right now itâs just gathering dust, i donât have the desire to play any new games anymore that you canât get on a handheld device
