to make you feel better, kofxiii’s combo trials are notoriously difficult. much more of a challenge mode than a teaching tool.
Don’t think I’ll ever be able to get into combo heavy tag team fight game but like always it’s always a treat to see all the great animations these characters have:
marie makes me think about reinstalling sg

“arcsys buffed testament in the new strive patch!”
yeah well that turned out to be a total fucking lie.

DNF Duel is free on Epic Game Store for the next 17 hours or so

Why is Grandblue so expensive? For what’s basically an expansion on a three-year-old game. I shouldn’t be crying poor, but it is a put off especially when the community is going to drop off once Tekken lands.
yeah I dunno, fighting game fans love spending money so if you try to ask this question you get a bunch of hyenas yelling at you about how you’re an idiot and really the intricacies of blah blah and don’t you know they added characters, that isn’t cheap!! really we’re lucky we got rollback, do you know how much money the gacha makes, this is a gift!!! on the plus side I only spent 5 dollars on the original and I feel like I got my money’s worth out of that one by messing around in training mode some and also having the enjoyment of playing against a japanese belial player in 11 frames of delay.
could be worse, they could be french bread releasing uni2 on the same day as tekken
huh, maybe i should play Granblue more
i really miss my fighting game crew. just can’t get into them as much these days without a constant source of nearby challenge
I’m so confused
Is Granblue fighter gonna be Smash now
The mobile game had a bunch of crossovers because it’s a mobile game, but does that mean the console fighter can also be a platform for crossovers now??
I wonder how different her moveset is from her appearance in Soul Calibur
Daddy Nier w/ Weiss would fit better than 2B imo.
i want both twink and daddy niers in the same crossover fighter
come on hololive guest characters you know you wanna
If you are a fight game sicko you have to mentally write off the first game and your paying purely for the rollback on this one. But also, there is a free version that’s pretty feature complete. The other value add is the fall guys mode that’s also open in the free version. The only reason to pay is if you want to play a character that isn’t on the free rotation or need to be able to enter private/friend lobbies.
Hadn’t realized that boss fights in the platformer The Adventure of Little Ralph (Chippoke Ralph no Daibōken, PS1) have a non-SD Ralph fighting it out fighting game style. For instance (time-stamped):
Wikipedia says “Beating the game unlocks a two-player versus mode, where players can play as Ralph or any of the game’s bosses.”
“Outdoors nude child not paying attention to the fightin’” is easily one of my favorite new fighting game background bystanders. This game looks charming!

Development took place over the course of 12 months on a total budget of $100,000. Although Gavin was being paid $14,000 a year to go through the MIT’s masters program, his and Rubin’s financial and living situation deteriorated during production, and they sold their remaining belongings to get by while finishing the game. With their last $10,000, they rented a 3×3 space within the 3DO booth at the Winter Consumer Electronics Show to search for a publisher. […] a bidding war broke out between Universal Interactive, The 3DO Company, and Crystal Dynamics. Gavin and Rubin initially came closest to accepting Crystal Dynamics’s offer, but discovered an internal divide between those who wanted to publish the game and those who wanted to purchase the game and use its engine to develop Samurai Shodown titles.
