It was kinda sloggy and linear at least as far as Ive played it. I feel like it prolly opens up as it goes.
The Infernium guy put out a demo for his next game, haven’t played it yet but looks cool
“I’ve been talking about wanting to do something with Yoko and Okabe for some time now,” said Saito. “I’ll have something a bit more put-together to say in the not-too-distant future, so please stay tuned. It might be NieR, it might not be NieR. [Laughs] That’s about all I can say for now.”

Nier 1 was by Cavia, Nier 2 was by Platinum. Who’ll develop Nier 3? Soleil?

Go big, Kojima Productions
Don’t go big, Access Games
AssStalker finally Climax Entertainment is back baby!
Feeling a bit of fatigue with the setting after Rise of Ronin and Like A Dragon Isshin! and Ghost of Tsushima and Nioh 2 and Sekiro and and

unbelievable SFC RPG Maker game unearthed:
i bought the first HORROR TALES game but i’ve yet to try it out. i need to get back to Infernium though - what i played was really great but i didn’t realize you could fuck yourself over from over-harvesting. it’s definitely intrigued me into checking out more of the guy’s work though.
i guess good to see ass creed finally discovering a new continent but yeah only daring to do so after this samurai junk has already become a subgenre of mainstream games is kind of unfortunate
cowards should have set this in japan-occupied korea in like the 20s
Yeah this feels like it would have been really cool 10 years ago.
10 years ago was probably when it was first conceived.
How do you think non-anglo gamers feel about dudes with assault rifles in the desert
You can’t fuck yourself over, it just gives the impression that you can. There is an unlimited supply of the stuff hidden under uuhh… it’s been a long time, I think the place you go when you die. It’s very time consuming though because it’s deliberately sparse, but yeah I finished the game thanks to it (and also an area you find later in the game which is just a vast field of the stuff)
something I don’t like about AAA game trailers, or trailers in general, is how “marvel movie” they feel. Like there’s a similar structure to them - they use a pop culture song that’s remixed and the “needle drop moment” happens in the back section. It feels so fake. It doesn’t get me hyped at all.
I wanna see some brightly colored Ran-style samurai armor. How come no one has ripped that off?
I actually just got back to Assassin’s Creed Mirage this week after dropping it after the first 45 minutes back in January (not the game’s fault, something came up) and I can’t shake the feeling that something is off about it (want to put $5 on movement) so this is probably the worst week to try to convince me to get hyped for a different AC game.
