thinking about it, the weirdest and neatest part of E3 is Phil Spencer in his GB Live interview saying that he’s cool with Xbox emulators as long as they’re on the up and up w/r/t IP

though I guess it’s easy to say that when you’re selling the best one

Did anyone have any sleeper hits of E3? Like, games you got hype for that you weren’t expecting to?

For me it was the new Lego Star Wars. They’re doing it open world and putting the camera behind the character so it’s a regular ass third person shooter type game. And it’s covering all nine movies. Five story levels per movie and like a bunch of optional side mission levels on top of all the usual open world stuff. I don’t know, it got me hype because I wasn’t expecting it to be so different. Plus it looks really good graphically, like on par with the Forza Horizon 4 Lego expansion. I’m definitely looking forward to seeing more of it.

Kinda Funny Games covered 60+ indie games this year and thank god for that. We need a few more groups doing this sort of thing every year (or even year round) so people can actually have a chance at finding out about quality indie stuff before it falls through the cracks.

Can’t wait to earn enough Force Points to unlock Force Push and remember where all the Force Push Rock Formations I found were. Man if we’re lucky they’ll even mark them on your map so you don’t have to remember

Give me an Ewok simulator where I can eat human beings already.

Cook them in a big pot and eat them.

Human person gumbo gives me big stat bonuses true to Ewok life.
