Signed up after being aware of the site for some time. I worked in gamedev for five years but quit the industry in 2019, now living on the west coast of Scotland with my husband.
I’ve got back into independent development recently and thought it may be nice to sign up here, as I know very few people with an interest in games beyond the monoculture. Hope you’re all well.

I’m glad to hear I’m not the only one. I’ve worked for an arts publication for three years, and prior to that I was in commercial audiobook production, so I’m a bit out of practice. If anybody ever wants to talk about independent development however then I’m certainly interested!

I’m not sure, though I was a member of the Consolevania forums as a teenager. There was a lot of “New Games Journalism” around that community so maybe it was from there. Seen places come and go, but this website is still around. It’s a nice thing.
