Oh I see you went for the classic mole kaizo.
(I wimped out and took the secret exit).

OK I can’t beat the normal route, this level is a hellscape.
Oh, I guess the very bottom was a secret.
haha shit the top was supposed to be sealed off, i gotta get back in there damn
Well I can beat it the real way now so do your worst.
I’m about to kick your ass at the others so I’m trying to establish a firm rivalry with Count Cania
ok this is just my first level again but not busted

also edited my old post to hide my shame
Another creator tip: you know those decorations that show up randomly on your placed ground tiles? You can copy and paste those. What I usually do is draw a couple long lines to get one of each, then paste them where I need them.
really enjoying Ben’s Reverb Hell
Alright I’ve really done something here. Are you ready to get tutorialized on the most esoteric Mario Maker mechanic I could find? Then line up to play:
Illegal Technique: Over the Top
“Nintendo doesn’t want you to know about this! Who needs stacking pipes?”

Get ready to learn all the intricacies of scroll stop, one of the new features in Mario Maker 2. Oh, you thought scroll stop was just for creators? Think again! You, as a player, can interact with this fascinating system.
I uploaded a level called Marina Hills. It’s very short, and inspired by Mario 64 level design. As such, there are two versions:
Race to the Finish
MGK-B65-DTF
Sixty Coins
3D0-QWQ-7GG
@VastleCania how fast can you complete it?
Oh, neat concept! I love the idea of presenting the level in two different contexts. I think the 60 coin version’s routing will be pretty interesting for speed running too.
My fastest time on Marina Hills is ~15s btw
this is the last I’ll post of it. I’ll be impressed if anybody can beat this
HOLY SHIT I DIDN’T KNOW MARIO LAND POWERUPS WERE IN THIS GAME!!!
Haha, yeah, you unlock it in story mode. Apparently there’s another powerup to unlock in story mode too!
I’ve been hoping since the release of this game that Mario Land 2 would be a secret unlockable/DLC level mode and I’m still very hopeful for that
No one will ever beat this. It’s impossible. I’m the best.
Everyone should try though. It’s a good level.
I have so many words I wanna write about everyone’s courses and I am going to do that…someday. I love this game even though denying America the stylus was the most consumer hostile move in Nintendo history.
Hop ‘n Bop! got an update. I give you Hoppin’ ‘n Boppin’!! It’s new and improved. More platforms, more coins, more secrets and more Mario.

Please enjoy. 66 people played my last level but I know those were rookie numbers. This is the one that will put me on the map.
I just finished this course with 10 seconds on the clock to spare!! I felt really dumb… until I solved it.
Great level! I’m definitely stealing this idea.
It’s actually amazing how much more complicated it is than the old stacked pipes (In MM1 you could overlay pipes, making seemingly the same pipe go to two different places). I figured out scroll lock was weird when I was using it (correctly) in my other levels, so I did a lot of research and came up with this! Glad you enjoyed it.
I’m trying to make my puzzles beatable, but still make you feel smart. I think my instinct is to make the level one big puzzle, which can make them unapproachable. Since this mechanic was so esoteric I thought I needed to teach you it before throwing you headlong into the hard stuff, and I think the level is better because of it.
