There are lots of secrets to dig up here. If you want to poke around yourself, try some Dreaming City status effects elsewhere.
One mild datamining discovery is that the Malfeasance catalyst isnāt (just) range, as the database indicated previously, but a new perk called Big Boom that adds in the explosion it originally had.

Wendigo is real good but has the hilarious effect of the strike playlists being full of people grinding lost sectors instead of doing the strike.
The chalice system is real good but has a similar effect of people AFK using macros in crucible, but Iām making lots of progress on the Mountaintop.
ok i tried menagerie yesterday. it was kind of a cluster with randos but it was also pretty fun! i kind of screamed a little when i realized one of the encounters was the lanterns from crotas end!!
also the game has a real glimmer sink now with the barge chests. gotta do those spider glimmer bounties now!

menagerie rules but at 690 and with pubbies itās definitely like a 2 hour investment where youre going to die 24/7. did it yesterday with blackout and every hive encounter was a fucking nightmare. dont worry though eventually the game takes mercy on you and moves you to the final boss if you take too long lmao

i like the direction they went with year 2, iām hoping they fix the problem of armor rolls (namely that thereās TOO FUCKING MANY POTENTIAL ROLLS) with shadowkeep, i want to burn all of this garbage in my bank and pollute the destiny universe with the fumes

Iāve been using Not Ideal armor since the new season came out because I was glimmer-wise core-foolish and the perks donāt seem that noticeable. IIRC traction is a big deal for controller players, though.
Taken/Fallen/Hive armaments are the shit, though, get one of those and you have power ammo forever.

I answered the poll even though I havenāt played, uh, all year probably? but Iām frequently entertaining the idea. I donāt even really harbor much if any ill will toward the game I just havenāt had the mental space for the commitment even when I have theoretically had the time

its worth noting that teg has severe brain damage like a true bungie fan and depending on how cross save works will also be available to play on PS4 lol. the only thing stopping me from buying all this shit again on PC to play with more people is not having a gaming pc. thank you bungie!
