I checked that I would stay on PS4 in the poll though I would not have entirely been opposed to playing on Stadia if it could interact with Steam. Realistically, if rye is leaving PS4 for PC, Iām probably just done with Destiny
the best part of playing gambit is when your teammates donāt play the game at all because they āwant to invadeā or āfarm bow killsā

i like coming back to destiny because bungie games are the only videogames i show any kind of skill at and it feels good when i spend an hour kicking ass in gambit or crucible compared to when i play call of duty, which feels like what i imagine slowly dying of pancreatic cancer is like
iām down to play on ps4 after september but tbh we all play so infrequently itās hard to justify buying the expansion twice for the occasional outing
there are some non-sbers i know who play on pc that have been asking me to move for a while which is mostly my excuse for going pc

Yeah I thought āhmm maybe I should get a PS4ā but once Iāve got the console, plus, and expansions I could have mailed three of yāall budget PC builds.
There seems to be info out in the wild that Vex Mythoclast may be returning with the fall DLC and honestly Iām starting to get pretty tired of how reliant Bungie seems to be on bringing back D1 exotics to drive interest into their game. This isnāt new, but I thought they would have gotten the player feedback by now that weāre tired of paying for updates only for the most exciting new weapons to be reheated assets from D1.
I already have a year of experience playing with Outbreak Prime as an undisputed DPS champion primary, so why did we need to have that happen a second time? How many times are we going to need to bring back Thorn or Black Hammer or Thunderlord over the life of the franchise? Can we just get a new weapon that is as cool as the ones we loved in D1 or did Bungie just blow their load in D1 and has no good ideas left for exotic weapons?
(donāt get me wrong I absolutely love Vex Mythoclast)
FWIW people have found the perks for Lumina in the text dump and it is genuinely a whole new kind of role for a gun healing/buffing teammates.
I donāt mind getting a reworked exotic each season as long as weāre also getting new ones. I donāt know if you got the exotics from Black Armory but Jƶtunn and Izanagiās Burden are all-time greats and weird.
I hadnāt seen that about Mythoclast but I wonder if NTTE is also coming back for Lore Reasons.
I appreciate that you can pretty easily help people get some great exotics off the bat - when Whisper was top DPS heavy (it might still be IDK) it totally avoided the Gjallarhorn āgatingā for endgame activities. Same goes for Outbreak - itās not as good as a well-rolled Blast Furnace or Go Figure, not to mention Redrix (lol), but if someoneās coming back to the game, you can get them a solid powerful drop primary in half an hour.
i hope they shove EVERYTHING from destiny 1 in destiny 2. i was expecting the ten year plan. i want a continuous ten year experience, so the less stuff missing from destiny 1 the better
bring back the wolves too, i dont need dog tower but i want dogs AT THE tower
im still not having fun with random rolls. i really liked knowing what a piece of equipment did without having to spend ten minutes looking at its perks and comparing it to everything else in my inventory (this is so much worse with armorā¦ and theyāre doing SOMETHING about it in the fall but ugh)
and like theres so much fucking shit to do i dont know why i have to spend more time worrying about grinding random rolls
but thats what the gamers wanted! they wanted arbitary time added to the game
unlike when i quit, the good outweighs the bad now.
the lore is getting VERY BUNGIE and making fanfiction of destiny and the marathon universe is my favorite thing
the drifter is a great character but i hate his fucking voice actor holy shit

yes! give us warthogs and put them in that pvp mode with big maps where you can use sparrows!!!

i honestly have no problem with them bringing back destiny 1 content. give me those strikes baby! turn the raids into menagerie-esque things since theyre so simple in comparison to d2 raids!! im here for the full bungie experience baby. fuck it
