While this would be neat I think it would have to be very carefully tuned to not be totally alienating to the audience. Maybe merging Brooks’ hot zones thing with it (specific zones of the strike are PvP designated), ensuring both players get a reward, and only doing it on strikes that aren’t extinguish (or giving you a toggle).
yeah it would need to bestow sweet loot on people who could survive for longest or something
So what do we think is going to be PvE meta hence btw, glad I never much leaned into snipers I guess!
Or is it going to be exactly the same just everything taking longer because this fucken studio
took this enemy team OUT. 0-3 and i still won the round
ugh at fucking last
Yes it could use a stability mwork more than the reload since I don’t really intend to do much reloading but I also don’t intend to spend another nanosec grinding for this lil bastard
nice!
here’s another freelance plays video
i think i’m gonna work on getting my solo flawless clears of the dungeon up to 69 just so my emblem looks ridiculous
I was hoping for theming that wasn’t faux-Egyptian
New arrangement of the Xol music
DOG HAT DOG HAT
DOG HAT DOG HAT DOG HAT DOG HAT DOG HAT THEY BROUGHT BACK DOG HAT
IT HAS A SPECIAL EFFECT IF YOU GO FLAWLESS THE WEEKEND BEFORE
Destiny 2 is gonna start hard-gating how high your gear can be infused, to force people to use expansion gear instead of stuff they love.
Say goodbye to your favorite weapons!
I get it, though. Not sure what the fix is - I think the artifact mods were an attempt to get more rotations.
Also not following that tweet - I thought this was kicking in for next year.
It still sucks to invalidate all the time people have spent grinding and playing to “shake things up”. Part of the appeal of Destiny 2 to me was its relatively flat itemization. I hated how it worked in D1.
Here’s the full director’s cut
PvP doesn’t use light levels anyway at least so I can’t see Sparebender going out just for capping infusion?
Trials is light-enabled and every sweaty sparebenders player is a trials person
Ohhh
lol
is that confirmed? d2 trials was lightless iirc
idk though i’m pretty far out of the loop
trials and iron banner were originally lightless in destiny 2, but they brought back light level mattering n ‘high level’ pvp and it was one of the two major reasons i quit
I hate that they keep finding ways to make the game worse for the people who still like playing it. Making people’s favorite weapons obsolete after like 10 months again is a completely bizarre change to the game and I guess I just really do not understand how this fixes any of the problems? Oh so they’ll just add a new exotic handcannon every year that everybody will use until it’s obsolete instead. It turns out everybody just wanted Destiny 1 after all. Sad!
