the key to playing iron banner at low light is: telesto
nobody can stop the power of telesto
it will consume all
jokes aside, the penalty caps at -100 light below your target, and if you are close enough to spray someone with most of a telesto burst, itâll kill them no matter what
thereâs also a triumph for doing 2500 kills with iron burden (-100 light penalty consumable). 500 gets you a masterworked wizened rebuke, 2500 gives you a special emblem
edit: also, wolfâs favor drops from most activities (particularly pve ones) and is a consumable that gives +100 light in IB for 30m good if youâre getting frustrated by the damage differences

Thereâs also malfeasance, which will definitely kill in five shots regardless of level.
But yeah, pop a wolfâs favor. IB is also kind of a fast leveling event because of the bounties.

If youâre a sick freak who loves pain, itâs also a good time to do the âfive resets in one seasonâ challenge, because you get double valor, and Rumble win streaks accrue from 3rd place or higher.
Extra easy right now on PC because people are using AFK macros to farm runes, so you can farm them for kills (also the crucible pinnacle bounty, if thatâs your scene)
