can’t see myself ever bothering with AC:O, i’m afraid, but you shouldn’t let that stop you from providing your own hater’s take on the subject!
and that’s privateer and righteous fire finished yaaaaaay~
finally played the Contra: Rogue Corps demo
wow…what a pile of crap. it’s maybe marginally better than the PS1 games?
Yeah it’s real disappointing. I played it just now and couldn’t finish it. It looked good in the trailers.
I’ve had to take the last few days off from holding a controller so I finally got around to playing through A Story About My Uncle, which I’m pretty sure I got thanks to a key one of you fine folks here gave me, so I figured the least I could do is write a few words about it.
It is pretty okay.
…Fine.
Beyond the whole story telling bit which is graced with some rather unconvincing voice work it is basically a three hour long first person platformer where you jump ridiculously high and far and also have a grappling hook that eventually can be used three times before you recharge it by landing on the ground. I wanted to compare it with Bionic Commando except it is probably a bit more Spiderman, but mainly the game consists mostly of jumping around and swinging around some floating rocks broken up by talking to some frog people. Mechanically it isn’t completely smoothed out but mostly does what it sets out to do and I was happy to jump and grapple around for the few hours it asked me to. I would recommend it if that sounds like a good time.
I also liked Pixeljunk Eden and that game was also all about jumping and swinging around and I know some of you dislike that game, so consider that your caveat.
Picked up OBSERVER again after like a year break from my first hour save…yeah Imma need to restart this. Even grfx pulled down for more fluid movement the whole thing maintains a look maybe my favorite musty digital. One of the better intersections for so much cyber retro future noir.
The PS1 games are not the horrible trash I was lead to believe for years. They are pretty okay.
i disagree!
the best ps1 contra game is the one featuring bruce willis
I got blasphemous on PC but it crashes and won’t recognize my gamepad.
Is it worth trying to submit a support ticket to the developer or should I just ask steam for a refund and buy it on switch or ps4 or something?
I’d do both
Took me until after the end credits of Astral Chain to realise I could visit the cats I rescued
I just beat chapter 7 in Celeste. That was fine I suppose. I screamed a lot at my xbone controller on my laptop for registering false positives. There was a lot that felt like not my fault. I appreciate if you like the game there is a big giant pile of more game waiting for you. Just piles of MORE GAME.
I sure don’t enjoy this split-second execution.
I had a one sentence review for this, and then I watched some youtube videos and now I can’t remember it. I’m sure it will come to me in the shower and I’ll have to run out dripping wet and grab my phone and slam >left turn reply> .
i signed up for the trial of Apple Arcade aaannnnnd
turns out i still don’t like playing mobile games! lol
idk, they’re fine, but i can’t really see myself wanting to pay a monthly fee for them as of right now. any word on when Arcade is going to be available on Apple TVs, because so far, haven’t seen anything. i feel like that would probably change my feeling about it a lot. and are all games TV compatible, or just some?
i’ve found it really difficult to find any detailed info about this stuff.
Untitled Goose Game is good. It feels like the best parts of new Hitman in a more focused and wholesome experience. Probably much shorter though
Goosefeel is excellent. Adorable walking and responsive honking
I wish it had a different name. This is a game I’d show to everyone, but honestly I‘d never want to put myself in a situation where I have to explain why it’s called « Untitled goose game »
too Gamer Humor for me
Yeah, Apple really botched this fall release season so the answer is really unclear. iPhone and iPad/tvOS versions of iOS 13 were originally supposed to be released together, but then due to software stability issues, 13.0 was kept phone-only with a September 19 release and all other devices won’t get 13.0, instead getting 13.1 which was originally scheduled for a September 30 release. Then tomorrow Apple bumped up the release date for the iPhone and iPad builds of 13.1 to September 24th, but I don’t think there’s been any word about the Apple TV builds.
So either September 24th or 30th.
if i can play all of the Arcade games on my TV, then that would probably be enough for me to want the subscription. if it’s just certain games…not so much.
maybe whenever Sakaguchi’s game comes out i’ll just get a subscription until i beat it, like Showtime with Twin Peaks.
Played through close to half of the Link’s Awakening remake today.
It’s…pretty good.
I’m just bummed that stuff like the bracelet are automatically assigned/used, instead of being selected items.
It means I can’t game the AI and grab a wall to stack those enemies that mirror your moves and kill them in one charged blow anymore.
played the modern warfare open beta today and got teabagged by a guy named “JungleJew26” so call of duty multiplayer is still the same 12 years later i guess
war never changes…
