i played a few hours of Generation Zero last night. it’s super janky but it’s the pubg walking sim i wanted to talk over.

I’ve never understood why so many things inspired by Lovecraft insist on either mentioning him by name and saying his writing contained hidden knowledge of reality or (worse) including him as a character.
Providence did this less awkwardly than most, I suppose, but I’d still rather see an author explore the worlds from Lovecraft’s stories or create similar ones without reference to the stories themselves.

A Judgement demo appeared on the Playstation Store and based on it I don’t grasp how it isn’t actually a Yakuza game.

What if a street gang that was formed to clean up Kamurocho has been seemingly corrupted by the #2 and now the former #1 needs the players help to punch everyone involved.

What if a Tojo-kai lieutenant is plotting to kill his captain so that he can take his place and the player is the only one that can stop them except the player isn’t ex-yakuza but a lawyer turned PI after a disasterous double homocide.
Okay wait
What if the main characters parents died a mysterious death but a Tojo-kai captain raised him and tried to keep him on the straight and narrow so he wouldn’t fall into the life of crime his adoptive father-figure inhabits.

2017’s prey is a better game than any of us deserve (despite its flaws or whatever) and it’s all the system shock sequel I want in my life.

From what I hear the base game is okay, above average, but the expansion/DLC Mooncrash (or something with moon) is excellent, so be sure to try that out as well I guess
I’ve never gotten into anything before WC3 but that game was my favorite as a kid. Does WC2 have a cool story?
the first game is always a pacific war in space simulator with a bunch of missions and branching paths then the 2nd one tries to tell a more elaborate story, so wing commander 2 is the wing commander iv of the 2d wing commanders
