Daphny played my xbox copy because it’s the superior kotor 2 experience. The HK factory is cool conceptually but all the other content is unfortunately not worth having to deal with the pacing going to complete shit when you have to take like 2 hours to go through an area that is literally nothing but combat encounters with one party member you may have been neglecting the entire game. There are flashes of brilliance there but I’m glad it got cut. The droid planet mod is also a complete fucking mess.
i literally bought an original xbox for halo 2 and kotor 2. i bounced off of halo 2 and immediately played through kotor 2 three times. first i was force neutral, then evil, then good
then i sold the xbox and halo and kept kotor 2 just in case. i never played it again til they had a digital copy on sale on xbone
the hk factory is totally optional even within the restored content patch
Like you can install everything except the hk factory
iirc its even a separate installer
blah blah blah
RCG
blah blah
fuck you game
also yoyos
at this point I’m literally begging one of you to take all of this and be less garbage at the game than me and rise to the top of the speedrunning leaderboards for this game
me? two more minutes and I’m smashing that uninstall button
it really is godawful
yeah its the worst I don’t know why the modders thought it was worth releasing
that’s awesome that its a completely seperate installer so everyone who knows better CAN IGNORE IT
Today I’ve played two games. One was Star Ocean First Departure R. I beat the final boss and saw the endings with the characters that I got, so I’m going to start a second playthrough with a different party and get different endings and scenes and stuff.
The other game was Paladin’s Quest, an old old SNES JRPG that I have a soft spot for and have played through multiple times to completion. In fact, I’ve been taking screenshots and I’m planning to post a let’s play of it pretty soon here.
Just got Dark Souls: Remastered for Switch.
The audio quality is awful. So much for “Remastered”.
Feels bad to die in undead parish. Never been good at this game.
re apprenticed
I defeated the gargoyles on the first try and also got the gargoyle axe
halberd whatever
I got Ring Fit Adventure and it is really impressive stuff! Nintendo is very good at workout training. The game teaches you new exercises using a combination of voiceover, example videos, random text tips, and the feedback of your avatar doing the exercise while you do it. This combination really makes the proper form clear and constantly reminds you so you’re always doing the exercises correctly. I actually learned how to do some of the after-running leg stretches I’d only read about or watched videos of and never understood. This is probably the best possible way to learn exercises without actually getting a personal trainer or going to classes.
The visuals are super cute, and the music slaps. Very positive and welcoming vibes. The combination of JRPG tropes and fitness culture makes for a funny story too.
hours of fun
halberd is a long axe
I’m also playing this! I’ve played it for maybe 14 days total? For how shallow the plot is, the writing is delightful. I like it when the ring man tells me my sweat looks beautiful. My favorite little bit of Nintendo punnery here is when you meet the four masters, each representing workout areas. There’s Allegra, Armando, Abdonis, and–the one that made my jaw drop–Guru Andma.
