finished another kit! did a matte topcoat on this one. waterslides have spoiled me I guess cuz instead of putting a single sticker on the dra-c I opted to paint everything instead. I was gonna glue one of these pink bedazzle gems my friend gave me cuz they look like monoeyes, but I think they’re master grade compatible only. oops! I had already so CONFIDENTLY thrown out the sticker so I had no choice but to hand paint it. I fucked up and put it way too high at first, like where the three paths meet but I wasn’t happy with it at all so I painted over with more black and tried closer to the center, which I think worked!!! it’s a legless mobile suit kinda day I guess! OOO I also added some silver and black to the gun to break up the grey, and I think it came out totally bad ass.

sazabi ver ka is the peoples choice for best MG it looks like. i just did a round of 32 random kits and the MG Turn A won. gonna try 128 kits now mwahahaha

there’s a model kit youtube channel I watch with a lady who might be sexually attracted to the sazabi, like not in a serious hot-gluing way but it’s like her emet, and I didn’t really care for it too much before (so much of that red. chars old suits have more chars pink but the sinjanju, sazabi, and nightingale are like corvette red. I could paint shit of course but I don’t have a setup really to paint an entire kit unless I buy spray cans. oops long parenthetical again. we irritating) but I kinda see what she’s getting at. I’m definitely way more into the shield now than I was before I started watching her channel

I haven’t built in a few days because I lost a BIG piece for my HG kimaris arm, and luckily I can still put the arm together but UNLUCKILY there’s gonna be a huge hole in the shoulder. I am putting off finishing the kit because maybe the piece will turn up!!! it’s not small!
I had it in my hand, got into a conversation, and when the convo was done I went back to building and the piece was gone. did I eat it???

I’m not surprised that I gave the win to Qubeley, I am surprised that it had to compete with the Sword Strike after Sword beat out the Zeta A1. Gundam Seed may have been a waste of air, but they did nail the aesthetics of Gundam-like robot designs.
