thatās fucking king jeremiah babey
chad
Best part about the Jeremiah fight zone is the spooky noises you hear if you stand still and listen in certain spots
Got Four Kings down to about 20 percent health but got unlucky and ate an AOE + 2 vertical slashes.
I think I can do this. It just sucks.
Iād go 2 handed for that fight if you arenāt already.
I did for the last bit. Put on some big boy armor (Lautrecās), but Iām gonna go full chunk mode and get in there with Havelās gear.
In the mean time I went back to the valley and killed that rotting dragon. Didnāt need to, just blowing off steam.
Yeah, for Four Kings you can make it just a DPS race if you want, just chunk up with the heaviest armor possible, two-hand a good weapon, and donāt even bother trying to evade their attacks. Just get in there and get stuck in. If you have a fully-upgraded Quelaagās Fury Blade thatās a great weapon for that fight.
Just got 'em. Went hog wild with some resin and my long sword. Crunched a humanity or two for a quick heal. Now Iām chilling out at the Abyss bonfire.
Absolutely humiliating time trying to get to this channeler buffing these crystal guys in the archives.
Just keep letting my guard down (and stamina too low) and get crushed by 'em.
Probably just getting impatient!
Anyway that was a fun little trick, setting up two boars in that hallway. More conceptually than execution - you can see the tusks of the second one poking out before you round the corner. Just a real āyāall are putting these things here, in this kind of areaā moment.
One thing that felt good - going back to the Valley of Drakes and absolutely crushing each and every drake.
One thing that felt bad - going back to the bridge with the hellkite dragon and getting one-shotted by a direct-overhead fire blast.
you get a special surprise for beating sanctuary guardian, keep it up
Youād think thereās no way I could die again, with the boss at the exact same sliver of health.
Folks,
Edit: ok got 'em. Whew.
I think my favorite way of dying in this game, no matter how frustrating, is when I see an attack I never anticipated that gives me no choice but to laugh.
Namely, these forest guardian knights suck - but knocking me down with a hammer, and my complacently standing up, starting to chug a flask, and the knight ripping the hammer out of the ground, sending a shockwave of dirt and rocks straight into the air that kill me instantly.
Thatās the good stuff.
Souls games consistently have excellent slapstick moments.
Small update for a small amount of progress - this is the moment Iāve finally learned the benefit to āfuck it just run, just run out of there.ā
I tried to fight these little gardener guys and the big knights one by one, but by rolling around managed to aggro like five of those gardeners and three or four of the knights.
Just ran to the little submerged chest, got my shit, and skedaddled.
āDidnāt you learn this lesson with the same big knights before the butterfly boss?ā Clearly not!
Donāt know if I have it in me to fight this big dragon that showed up just yet. I canāt even beat the bridge dragon. Iāve seen clips of the guy Iām heading towards, so I know pain awaits. Already buffed the bonfire just in case
Grandpa Gaming Gaiden: Iāve been playing Kirby and the Forgotten Land because itās a baby game, surely it will be a nice palate cleanser/cool down from Souls-ing.
But here I am, all white knuckled, trying to beat this tree without taking any damage, muttering āagainā when I get hit by an errant root or coconut and have to restart.
Souls never ends.
Oh no. It happened. A terrible fate. You have got gud.
āHmm, fog gateā¦letās see whatās down this path instead. Lotta warnings about a dragon. OK. Letās see how tough this dragon is.ā
big plume of yellow and black fire kills me instantly
āHmm fair enough.ā
edit: oh god this is Artorias, huh? I think Iām screwed.
artorias is fine. i mean heās very hard but dw about it
