damn I honestly didn’t realize MZS could channel ebert that well, I haven’t read his criticism in a while and this is the kind of review that makes you genuinely want to watch a mediocre movie

everyone has already made this observation, but it’s still funny that any evidence at all of an authorial vision within a recent super hero movie is what is being praised about the snyder cut

I may not be the only human being on the planet to get to 0:15 and think, “Snyder Cut Superman’s chest hair looks Snyder thicker,” and then, immediately, “shit, I guess I will watch this entire movie, or whatever it is, on something other than my phone,” but

Todd McFarlane is making Snyder Cut Justice League Figures.
He’s making a Batfleck figure. I’m going to soon be the proud owner of Ben Affleck’s Batman: The Figure.
He’s got Steppenwolf, Darksied and all the heroes BUT Wonder Woman?! What the hell Todd. You think I’m going to want to buy a whole set of JLA figures that are incomplete?

Him being Steppenwolf works in the context of Mother Box and Boom Tube and other Kirby-isms.
