I mean, far more likely that if this is successful, directors won’t get final cut but will be allowed to put out director’s cuts a year or two after sales across various platforms have died down for every big or disappointing film.

There’ll be as many versions of every tentpole as there are of Blade Runner.

I thought the curse of the DVD “unrated and extended” cut was over.

I’m worried the involvement of HBO and a bunch of other people will lead to us not getting the absolute X-Men: Dark Pheonix-level shlockfest I’m hoping for. I want this thing to be unimaginably shitty and weird in an entertaining way.
