Sounds like cowardice to me. Though I do kind of like the idea of some ridiculous warrior culture based so heavily on dangling your bits as an act of defiance to your enemies that they basically go for reverse bikini armor, everything except the naughty bits covered in full mail and plate.
wearing armor is an acceptance of the mindset that allows for the possibility of being hit

i donāt know if no oneās talking about this because weāre just collectively over the MCU stuff but sam raimi is going to direct doctor strange 2, and confirmed his involvement in a very raimi way, in some kind of random interview about some other thing in which he said heās directing the movie and also managed to neg the IP by calling doctor strange his āfifth favorite marvel characterā

Raimi wouldāve been more exciting if the first director attached to Strange 2 was less exciting. I canāt help but feel Disney shenanigans, but I also rewatch like 2 MCU movies a week, so Iām also super lame

I mostly passively enjoyed most of the Marvel movies leading up to Endgame, but only ever saw them once in the theater. Iāve managed to convince my 4 year old that heās willing to watch superhero movies (so we donāt have to keep rewatching Peter Pan and Moana) and man, they are all so much less charming the second time on a small screen, even the ones I liked the most like GotG and Ragnarok

Itās going to be a massive success and spawn Zack Snyderās DC Cinematic Universe which will run in parallel to the Regular DC Cinematic Universe, the DC Cinematic Elseworlds, and wasnāt there supposed to be a Black Label too that the Del Toro Justice League Dark film was supposed to be under? Or maybe Iām confusing that with the comics.
i donāt particularly like snyderās films and the internet campaign behind this has been obnoxious, but it is easy to forget that he left the film in postproduction because of a very heartbreaking family tragedy. i sort of think that despite everything else him getting the chance to finish the movie the way he wanted to is still good, somehow.
