Games You Played Today ##RELOAD

I got it on PS4 but it crashes at start up due to some kind of syncing error apparently. Like, literally you can’t play it on PS4 unless you set your network settings to offline mode. So I hope they’re scrambling to get that fixed.

But does it really offer anything compelling to someone who is completing the original, be my guinea pig Felix

Titanfall 2 seems like a very good game even though it might be slower and that bounty hunt mode is just the thing from Halo 5 but with economics instead

The modern, preferred controller is not a good device with which to manipulate a gunarm that also graduated from Cirque de Soleil

bought Downwell a few days ago. oh man this game is scary addictive. got really hooked on using the levitate style & sticking to the basic machine gunboots to rack up hella combos. im already nearing 10,000 pts, help

it looks gorgeous. i love how sometimes when you boot up the lil dude is lounging on the bench or sleeping under the tree to the left of the well. nice music too though im often listening to a podcast or some tunez when i play games.

So far it offers mostly the same game as the first one (with tutorials you can skip) but this time the planet you’re on is an actual planetoid you can roam freely from the start with the basic goal being to get to the moon somehow (after finding all your spaceship parts).

I don’t remember was the first game also on a freely explorable planetoid? I think it’s just one kind of big, vertical level? I really like the world in this one a lot more. It’s got trampoline mushrooms you can rocket yourself off of and if you move in a direction without hitting anything for a moment you pick up a lot of speed.

I played The Beginner’s Guide as it was available in the newest Humble Bundle deal for cheap.

I’m pretty sure it is just a Molydeux simulator.

Perhaps I played it wrong…

The successor to Galleon has arrived.

oh shit this game has BOSS FIGHTS??

Animal Crossing is so hilariously depressing at times. Today was the big Bug Off, and all the animals were upset because the award ceremony was cancelled. KK Slider performed to an almost empty room and it was the antelope’s birthday, whose party was attended only my a koala and myself. When he asked what I brought him I gave him the only thing I had to spare, which was a moth

moths can be good presents, don’t discriminate on fuzzy buddies

He seemed moderately pleased with it at any rate.

I seem to remember in the DS version that the animals would talk to each other a lot more, and make each other angry, sad, happy etc. So far after a few weeks playing I have seen two convos between animals, and it was the exact same conversation both times. Did they significantly reduce that feature in the 3DS version, or are my animals just anti-social jerks?

Does select button approve of Galleon? I really enjoyed it even though it needed a lot of polishing.

So far this morning I have played an exciting minigame involving moving stuff off my SSD so I can pre-load Deus Ex

Turning off real-time virus protection made things much faster

I think we do! I sure do. The SB Galleon quest has always been to get Cuba to play it

what is the best cheap harddrive for the ps4

I have a 500GB hybrid drive in my PS4. It is kind of amazing.

To be honest I’ll never buy anything that isn’t an SSD anymore. It’s just ridiculous how much faster SSDs are than rotational drives. $180 for 500GB Samsung 850 Evo isn’t a bad price. If you don’t need that much space (uhhhh…) you can drop a bill for the 250GB one.

witcher 3 with all of the dlc is pushing 80, seems bleak

it’s worth it. I got the base game for $50 at launch because CDPR are really keen on compensating for USD exchange rates and it felt like a deal, and I bought both expansions for face value. you could probably take a pass on the first one but even so. it is a long meaty game that I cannot fault for a moment for being long and meaty.
