No.
are you Ni_Go
no matter their identity, their username/avatar/post synergy is to be admired
my guess would have been vic, but they havenāt posted anything about doom yet so it seems rather unlikely
doom
The original or the remake?
Either. (If youāve made any Doom posts then I must have missed them.)
vic was really really into the original Doom, but he also apparently posted a lot in the nu-Doom thread before he left or got banned again or whatever happened to him (idk).
If you have any Doom-related hot takes, weād love to hear them.
Iāve been picking away at Professor Layton and the Miracle Mask andā¦ well it is now a dungeon crawler.
There are mummies with swords down here and I donāt know how to feel.
which one of you all made this game
No way a tru sbhead would include Iji
Re: DS1, went in the back way so I could skip most of blighttown, and took out quelaag on the first try. Didnāt feel like messing with senās fortress yet so I went and dispatched all of the forest guardians one by one, after which I accidentally pissed off the cat.
+5 divine halberd with 30 faith and the wolf ring is pretty much making me unstoppable so far.
Doki Doki Literature Club is pretty rad even if āhaunted video gameā is basically a genre now and theyāre starting to get predictable.
A few of the ways the game messes with you actually made me chuckle and clap
Picked up Evil Within 1 again after not touching it for about a year or so. Got up to Chapter 6. Itās a weird game that has some good visual/mind tricks in itās bag but feels like it struggles to be a game about mechanics or a game about surviving/progressing. It has the structure to be a solid action shooter but is hindered by making resources scarce or a chore to manage. The scares are more valued more on shock right now because any plot hints have been so vague or spread apart that nothing really feels like it has any thematic weight to it. Half tempted to lower to easy just so I can get through it because the second game at least sounds interesting from a structure point of view that might work with the aimlessness of the story.
Yeah it seemed like there eventually came a wall where suddenly I needed to grind, premium items purchased or not, and that was about where I decided to hang it up. Totally recommend the game up until that point, though!
Gee I canāt beat the third boss in Panzer Dragoon anymore. I finished the game years ago on my first try, so I donāt know if I got slower in my old age or if my computer couldnāt handle the emulation back then so I played it in slow motion thinkin I was great at it
Just look on the wikia ā there are some fairly overpowered common items / item sets that you can lean on to breeze through the game if you donāt want to grind (i refuse to grind).
Now that Iāve played it, Iām feeling Nidhog 2ās art design even less.
Actually,
Played Journey over the past few days. For some reason I kind of wanted to dislike it, but it won me over. They got me with that salmon-swimming-upstream finale, especially.
I think its main problem is that walking around feels shitty. Weirdly, the sand-sliding and floating feel good. After playing the first level and liking the bits of sliding but hating the walking, I jokingly thought to myself, āI guess I kinda want an SSX version of this?ā And then, a few levels laterā¦
