Games You Played Today Oratorio Tangram

Second area is probably the hardest one in the game. The following ones look harder until you get used to them, then they are a breeze. It is also quite good if you got the upgrade that allow you to eat dead enemies, as it is an area that you can take slowly. Following areas are better suited for aiming for combos.

For me it helped to play the first two zones like a platformer and from them treating the game like a shmup.

I finished all 80 levels. This was the game I played today.

Ok I did it again. Not sure what I’m doing, I just kept trying.

I mean it occurred to me that I could stop running from psychic mutants in visionspace and see what happened but I really needed to launch those missiles.

LOVE. IT.

I’m in the middle of rescuing the pop star in Persona 4 on the PS2 and my interest is starting to flag… I like the story of this game, but it takes so long to do anything in it. I guess mainly really it’s the dungeons I don’t care for. I was prepared to play like 30 hours of this game I think, it’s just so long. Is it worth finishing?

I played on a new game plus save so my parties devilmen could kill monsters in one hit, I can’t imagine playing the game for real. I think you’re like one/twentieth of the way through.

Man if you arent enjoying the anime scooby doo/dungeon crawling you should stop. It is just more of that. For about 90 hours.

I talk about this a lot on hinge problems but one day you are going to die and if you have played a game for 30 hours you should know damn well if you personally want to keep playing it.

All the Downwell advice has been useful (thanks!) but these two bits of info have proved to be truest for me. Armspin has allowed me to heal more, particularly when I have the ā€œshoot a power-up to change it one timeā€ ability, and I get hit enough times where this is a good thing.

I also made it past 2-3 a couple of times. The second time I did I made it all the way to the boss (which killed me because I decided to try and jump on it before it activated which wiped out my health) so… yeah, the second area is definitely the harshest.

Both a friend of mine and my sister have destroyed their 3ds’ simply from playing them so damn much, and I suspect that means they are much more Hardcore Gamers than me.

Probably me too. I can’t even get past the first task in The Dog Island, which I think is a game for pre-teens :o

Not one of you will believe me but Steins;Gate Zero is really good*. It absolutely requires playing Steins;Gate. But lord this is immediately giving emotional punches I didn’t expect.

*- Except for the Trans Character who they couldn’t do worse if they tried to write a terrible Trans Character. I will make no excuses they fucked up huge here.

Do you know if having seen the anime is sufficient?

Finally picking up Starbound. Played for about an hour this morning. The music is very nice.

Still haven’t found a buyer for my Switch, so I figured I may as well give BotW a second chance.

Thought I’d go straight to the first real dungeon, keeping the exploration to a minimum, but found myself suddenly struggling with the goblins just past Kakariko. Tried to go back and comb the first few areas for stuff I’d missed, only to run into a Guardian on one of the Dueling Peaks and be summarily lasered to death.

Nope, still don’t get it.

What, again?

Has there ever been another Legend of the River King-style game on a better system than the GBC?

Afterburner Climax is just a perfect videogame.

Also, a cautionary example of what happens when licenses to use irl aircraft (or motor vehicles) are lost.
