we need to play animal crossing together
I wish Fantasy Life hadnāt immediately plunged into the abyss of mobage garbage for itās second game.
Trying out a low-rate private RO server, got super lucky in the Thief job quest with my Fly Wing and teleported right to the entrance of where I needed to be in the Ruins. Itās not really that complicated, itās just I havenāt played RO in forever, and I fucking hated navigating the ruins (the job quest seems to be different, though, i donāt remember this shit with orange mushrooms).
Working towards a Gank Rogue, or whatever itās called these days because I want to make some money. I was tempted to do a blacksmith, but I remember soloing a broke merchant being absolutely miserable. Also, I seem to recall Rogue having a higher level of overcharge and discount vs the merchant.
also, apparently, the āfreebiesā for the new characters are limited to one character per account, so i somehow glitched it and didnāt get the class-specific freebies, so i deleted the character, and re-created it, but it was like, nope, you already got free shit, and I was like, but i donāt! now i donāt have the free potions OR the free class stuff! so, thatās cool.
I āobtainedā an alpha copy of Graveyard Keeper, which is like Stardew Valley but with corpses instead of crops.
I mean thereās crops also, but.
The main idea of the game is that every few days, corpses come in, and you have to prepare them for burial, bury them, and then turn in the burial certificates in town for cash. But what youāll really be spending most of your time doing is maintaining/improving things around your home and the graveyard you run; repairing dilapidated grave markers, clearing weeds, chopping firewood, smelting iron to make nails and hinges, etc. Thereās even a tech tree! You find an abandoned alchemy lab in the basement of the church and conduct experiments on illegally-harvested organs from the corpses youāre delivered. You can befriend a witch in the swamp next door, right after the Inquisitor makes you watch him burn a witch. Befriend the Inquisitor and set up a printing press in the church basement, printing advertising flyers for witch-burnings! Practice forbidden magic! Sell meat from corpses to the town! Write and deliver sermons after being tossed the keys to the church because the bishop canāt be arsed! Give beer to a talking skull!
Something for everyone!
Iām playing through Marathon: Infinity finally. Itās nice but I kinda feel like I missed the window to play this one. It seems like getting the obscure secrets and w/e are where a lot of the fun is, and Iāve missed a bunch of them. I havenāt had the patience to thoroughly search out a game like this anymore. I want to keep playing but idk how to reconcile this.
Iām finally playing Silent Hill 2 thanks to Marina. My controller doesnāt rumble for some reason so I donāt know when sadboyās health is low except in the pause menu.
I like how it mixes relatively free-roaming camera segments with fixed angle cameras for cinematic effect. Itās spooking me quite a bit.
I wandered around in a very dark apartment building for a while thinking that maybe itās too dark because my TV is bad or something. Looked up a walkthrough just in case and found the flashlight and felt pretty dumb.
Something is wrong with my PS2 because it makes horrible buzzing noises whenever it tries to load something from the disc, which makes it so I donāt really want to play more than 30 minutes at a time. Seems to work fine, but itās very irritating. Oh well.
Anyway weāll see how SH2 goes. I know the basic plot points but I donāt know the details, so Iām expecting some fun surprises.
SH2 rules, Iām glad youāre playing it! A gameplay tip thatās not really clear: Your attacks actually vary depending on how hard you press the attack button. Itās a weird, obscure feature of the PS2 controller.
World of Horror: actually pretty awful, but I have a weakness for Junji Itoās take on cosmic horror and the early-Mac-adventure aesthetic fits like a glove.
Ikaruga: still not getting what Rudie and others see here.
How are you playing. It Easy? Normal? They are both different game as opposed to different difficulties. Would recommend Easy to start with.
If it helps I have briefly played with joycons and thought it sloppy.
iāve been spending a lot of time in the dev mines on my game lately trying to get finished and out, spent a lot of timea nd effort thinking about how to render scenes well and how to make scenery fit, so everything looks nice and clean and just like youād expect it would look
decided to take a break tonight and do something mindless, so i fired up dredmor
and the first thing i see
ā¦
maybe iām overdoing it.
ok so fuck yāallās cyberpunk 20-whatever
subserial network is hella good
the last guardian vr thing is maybe the happiest iāve ever been while playing a game omg
Iāve been playing Fist of the Yakuza Engine port Northstar and it is the Mad Max game we should have gotten. You can drive around a wasteland, battle evil gang members and run a hostess club. It might be my new favorite game.
I have had my own personal e3 finding out I can use spotify on ps4 without paying money. I may be of the digital internet age but have stayed far away from spotify because I like to actually own my music and not be worried about an internet connection dammit.
But it has been pretty fun pulling up albums I have been curious about and doing side missions in gravity rush 2 which despite an okay soundtrack playing the boss fights to Get Ready to Die and running around to New Found Gloryās āUnderstatementā has been fantastic.
This has changed a lot. I might go back to MGSurvive so i can just video game while listening to the Soundtracks by Goblin.

I hate that spotify completely removes albums from any context or identity. Like back to napster artist-album-song.
Spotify is great for shit I donāt feel compelled to own, but do want to listen to. Or for things I already own but want to listen to at work without putting them on a device.
There is a ton of Sega on the US spotify. It is also a pain in the ass to find anything specific in the game soundtracks, because who knows how exactly it is listed.
Thatās why our article will be important and googlable!
I am being fake confrontationable which is hard to pull off in text.
Oh shit is this going to be a giant table with region links and such?
Because I think your Spotify has different music than my spotify and AHHHHH.
Oh no.
Do you not have 80 albums by seiko matsuda?
Spotify really thinks I want to listen to nogizaka46
US Spotify has 1 album by her, 2017ās Seiko Jazz.
We do have like 20 by this artist though.
Yay music licensing.
