i was all good w this until you said dmc1 blows. how can it blow when it has first person underwater segments
I guess it just holds it breath at those parts
The Onimusha 3 intro was the most impressive thing Iād ever seen up to that point by far. Zero idea how it holds up. The funny thing about Jean Reno is they have him speak French at the beginning of the game and then do a plot device where a fairy translates his dialogue so they can pay a different voice actor to do all his lines for the rest of it, even though he speaks English irl just fine.
Onimusha 2 was the only good one, it was more open ended and discouraged button mashing. Onimusha 1 is trash and was not even remotely close to being as atmospheric and rad as DMC1.
how did it discourage button mashing? issen mechanic was in both games anyway
i canāt play dark souls 3 but i can play nioh
not really a game Iām played lately (all Iāve played for two months is monster hunter and games for snexploration) but in my āhighest priorityā backlog I have forsaken all genre and just categorize games by mood
which games are big mood
I deleted the app instead I think this was the best course of action
Decided to pick up some Street Fighter Alpha today. Itās very wonky and broken.
This was the first Street Fighter game I had ever played, and I remember falling in love with fighting games from a very early age because of it. A little piece of nostalgic kusoge I guess.
space funeral and tetris and thatās it
Alpha is peak nostalgia for me too. The backgrounds are probably my favorite in the entire series. The supermarket at dusk makes me so happy.
it gives me memories of playing SFA on my PSP while pretending to sleep
snexploration special ep on space funeral!
sfexploration squad
Truth.
I played through Mighty No. 9 because of Playstation Plus and itās not great for a few reasons, but I was impressed that it at least had some ideas in it. One of the stages took place in a white house-esque building where you can go either right or left from the start and that loops around; the boss is a sniper who is taking shots at you the whole time with your goal being to search through the stage to find him and do a bit of damage before he runs off (kinda like The End in MGS3 except not). When you do enough damage he says enough of that and invites you to the central office for the true boss battle.
Of course the dark side of this is the female robot helper having her own stage that is mostly stealthā¦
Donāt tell anyone that I got a double-perfect on @HOBO
Noooooo, HOBOOOOO, I will avenge you!
j/k, Iām trash
Donāt feel too bad HOBO, I once had a double-perfect loss in Soul Calibur IV, against what seemed like a bot programmed to just stand there spamming the same button over and over
