Sisters Royale on the Switch uses a similar grazing mechanic if you need more. Same studio and all that.
ooo! thanks
what is going on with this
every time they take the wheel they give it a yank and drive straight into a cornfield
From what I could find Hiroki Kikuta did these arrangements himself. He destroyed his own work.
ugh, thatās a punch to the gut
Correction and this was strangely hard to find:

Edit: De De Mouse, Yuzo Koshiro, Tsuyoshi Sekito
Looks like weirdly DeDe Mouse is responsible for the worst offenders.
Ah, one of the āsupervisionā projects. Still, the list seems decent, but I think these remaster projects are doomed from the beginning. Modern poppy or āorchestralā interpretations just suck the life out of old game tunes in my opinion, either not tight enough to represent math-precise rock or so big they overwhelm what was there; almost all of the Smash Bros. remixes hits the same for me, too.
yeah i kinda like the energy of women screaming into their price is right looking grey ass default computer microphones
the really short charge to a special move mechanic in 2 is rad too
what is 3 on? EDIT: Oh cool 360 and wii
yeah i donāt think the arrange is technically bad, but it lacks any soul, of which the original has plenty
anyway, if you do play the SoM remake, play it with the original soundtrack lol
I want to argue that Sayo in Shikigami 2 is Sayo from Kikikaikai but literally the only evidence I have is that Shikigami 3 has Time Gal
anyway, for my sins, I choose caught then beaten
Tried to thread the needle between a boulder and the northern edge of the map in Sunless Sea and, uh, I do not recommend trying thatā¦

Yeah it was a classic case of a sequel that was at once too derivative of the first game, and when it is different, itās just worse.
Other devs took the basic Hotline Miami formula into more interesting directions: Iād recommend Deadbolt that has an undead/hell theme and added staircases, vents and traps, and Katana Zero which made it (cosplay) samurai-themed and added bullet time.
Ape Out pretty much is just an improved version of hotline miami
Ape Out is pretty good, but they broke the door-clearing and the ultraviolence isnāt nearly as satifying
True, but Ape Out is more about dipping than ripping.
More about bearing than tearing
thatās a good point!
Iām basically satisfied with the genre between the original HLM and Ape Out
I think thatās right, the fast-fail nature makes it hard for me to want to dig in and really scale these mountains. It seems like everyone making these understands and these games all stick to mercifully short, heavily-stylized experiences. Iād need some killer style to do another.
Ruiner is on my list but the bit I put into it demanded a mouse and keyboard and was a bit loose in exchange for its lavish art. Katana Zero is something Iāve pledged to play for its writing mechanics.
I am playing Chocobo Mystery Dungeon EVERY BUDDY!!
I donāt know why Iāve kept throwing myself at Mystery Dungeon games all my life but this has finally paid off since this is the first one I like. Usually my experience with mystery dungeons is that I will dominate every enemy for one hour, then get randomly thrown into one room of death where Iāll either eat or throw every single item in my inventory until I die and lose everything and have to start again. Itās been awful.
This Chocobo Dungeon has mechanics that any self respecting Shiren fan would scream at but they are all catnip to me and carefully calibrated to provide an interesting challenge

levels donāt reset upon death but do not matter THAT much so theyāre just a little help if you keep failing.

Jobs are in and as always rule. Each job has dozens of unlockable skills; job skills are used with a resource that automatically replenishes just fast enough for skills to be used multiple times per floor but not fast enough to completely eclipse items. Big game changer

There are also buddies, theyāre AI controlled NPCs who come with you during dungeons and who have one unique skill you have complete control over. The buddy system is Too Much because you can only ever have one buddy with you yet there are 100+ to unlock, but hey, cool
In this game you have to unlock every basic shop or minigame by doing a sidequest in a mystery dungeon. I have to do a short dungeon with a difficult hunger modifier so I can unlock the ability to buy item space for 800 gils? Honestly, sign me up. I love when games make you work for something that should be obviously free, like how Castlevania SOTN makes you have to get a relic just so you can see enemy names on the HUD for some reason
Please make me spend 1000 xp just to unlock the settings menu and 300 gold to unlock Load Save, at least once in a while
