forget accessibility, just play battle garegga
ewwwwww
chaining the whole game in Guwange, yeah, but leveling up in MM is part of the main loop. the meter management came kind of naturally from that and trying to survive
no I like being able to see bullets
I was literally just about to say this lmao
one thing psikyo has is CONSISTENT BULLET COLORS
I think new players should just play whatever appeals to them aesthetically. If it looks cool and feels good – or if you just find it really funny, like me with Gunbird – that’s what really matters.
If they wanna learn about playing a game for score I’d just say “Try Dodonpachi or Ikaruga” since you can sum up their systems in one sentence, which isn’t the case for pretty much any other shooter released over the last 30 years. But I think folks who get into a genre because they’re intrigued by its mechanics are an extreme rarity, I think most folks wanna see stuff get blowed up/be cool characters.
M2 port letting you change the bullet colors is game changing.
Garegga rules, but should in no way be the way anyone tries to get into shooters.
Play Castle Shikigami 2 with the horrible US dub.
just going to big brain here and say the best shooter for this is Sin and Punishment 2
the scoring system? don’t get hit
the best way to beat the game? don’t get hit
eh, I’ll regret posting this when I wake up
.
Play ZeroRanger y’all.
Shooting games were really fighting games all along!?
Space Invaders Extreme 2 solved all of these problems and more.
I think staking not killing is actually the older formula. I believe you need to stake them to paralyze them and then remove their heads.
Warhammer 40k Mechanicus feels like it could have been on Sega Genesis
spent a few hours the last couple nights playing far cry 5 in co-op and it’s like the worst shit i’ve ever played lmao
I’m somehow newly aghast whenever I touch ubi single player stuff
the gap between that and their competitive stuff this generation (Siege, trackmania, even for honour is pretty cool) is very very vast.
there’s nothing more creatively bankrupt than ubisoft’s annual helping of “just put the kids to bed” preoccupation gruel.
assassin’s creed freedom cry, how does this exist
im having fun – its very hectic – and i wont remember it a year from now
close to finishing GigaWing with one credit, I might be able to do it this weekend
