food, glorious food (and drink)

The truth is I like all fruit a lot and each one adds a little bit of richness to my life. I tried to spread things evenly between tiers to see if I could learn anything about myself. I’m not sure if I did.

wow my parents grew a lot of fruits. the neighbours family had subdivided their old orchard so we had a quince tree in the front yard. plus mum and dad were a bit mad for using the space. peaches are nice but not when you have to eat 50

noticing a lack of resolution on apples and pears, red (delicious) apple is D but a gala or Fuji is an A. microwaved Bramley is an S

This is my old tier list from a few years ago:

I’ll revisit but in general if it was a generic color + fruit I ranked it based on my favorite version of that. And like Minty there are really no bad fruits, just some mediocre ones

It’s pretty hard to rank. Melons grown in the US aren’t very good, but melons from arid climates are divine.

Yeah I just went by what seemed like a typical good version of anything ambiguous. It would be so boring to put all apples on d list just because of red delicious and granny smith both being garbage tier unfit for hog slop

Would eat most fruits even in the d list except blueberries and ground cherries

Granny Smith are good though

so it doesnt taste JUST LIKE cookie dough?!??!?

that butter is trying to steal your identity through your fingerprints

It’s trying to log into my tablet to play games…

Eating it did make me think I should add a bit of butter to my morning oatmeal.

Yeah, California is really #blessed with produce. We have this farm, Weiser, that’s located in the more arid Tehachapi area that grows stupid good melons in the summer. We even have this farm, Wong’s, that has the most delicious mangos. They’re expensive as fuck, but last year I justified the price by making vinegar with the skins.

I did not realize persimmons weren’t readily available to most! Thank you all for your valuable fruit opinions

What if there were like grape sized hairless kiwi fruit?

expensive fruits is one of the pricy things i will always believe is worth it. after that asian pear that cost more than 3 nights in a love hotel in japan i have been converted to the fancy fruits

Kiwi berries? They’re okay, not as good as kiwi fruit
