It’s interesting how 3D modeling software and game engines have evolved to have almost the same capabilities. Even as they’re converging, we still haven’t cracked it into much simpler interfaces – it remains enormously complex as the tool settles into a stable, universal form.

yeah I did a blender course (flipped normals if anyone is interested, it was like $30) a couple years ago when I got my 3D printer just so I could become a bit more fluent in touch ups and I really enjoyed it but it’s a lot of work keeping that muscle in shape

turns out libsm64 is a library that can port mario into some game engines (also on the github page theres also a project to port mario into unity projects)

“can i put mario in this” is the next “can it run doom”
