Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster coming out February 2022 as opposed to an earlier date on Steam to allow for “careful debugging and adjusting of events and battles”.
Pre-order bonuses for the Steam release will be a “Special Soundtrack” featuring the following tracks:
- Locke’s Theme (Time Lapse Remix)
- Decisive Battle (Time Lapse Remix)
- Terra’s Theme (Time Lapse Remix)
- In Search of Friends (Time Lapse Remix)
- Aria (Instrumental)
The “Time Lapse Remixes” are “special tracks” that gradually change from the original track to an arranged version.
and some wallpapers (available in 3840 x 2160, 2560 x 1600, 1920 x 1080, 1280 x 1024, and 1024 x 768):
- x2 Final Fantasy VI Wallpapers
- x2 Final Fantasy I - VI Pixel Remaster Wallpapers
These bonuses are available to people who purchase the complete bundle of Pixel Remasters and the single Final Fantasy VI Pixel Remaster, but Famitsu notes you should “wait a bit” before pre-ordering FFVI if you want the bonuses with just FFVI. Nothing about the bonuses are all that enticing, so, there’s not much to miss out on.
- now even more compelling, with support for the larger ‘compute module’ pi format
- slightly hmm: 720p only(?) output from the dock
the epic game is Prey! It apparently comes with Moon rash too!!
I was about to skip this, having already played the main game, but the opportunity to try Moon Crash for free is awesome, so thank you for the heads up.
Facebook informed me this shop is having a sale. I am sure the items are of terrible quality but Yakuza Sukajan and…Demon’s Souls Varsity Jacket?

It is shocking how well this seems to manage being the dream game of a 6-year old, the type of thing you would grow up and realize wasn’t practical and wouldn’t work at all. Except these people seem to have actually done it.
I’m amazed this can even exist when the few fangame projects I’ve been a part of got CnD’d as soon as a prototype existed.
