Yeah the post-capital stuff gets pretty mean, like it feels like they let the Scholar of the First Sin folks take over sometimes. Kinda wearing me out a little as well, especially the optional stuff (that I feel like I have to do). I’ve also been on this dumb refusal to summon anything (even ash) the whole game and at this point I can tell it really, really wants me to.
I’m in Nameless Eternal City and I’ve finally found the single missing item I needed to put four levels on my weapon. Good to go from struggling to viable again in the space of like 20 minutes
I was thinking the same until 10minutes ago.
After the silly and cheesable Erdtree Avatar at the north of the rot area, there’s this dungeon at the back.
After exploring the entire dungeon I get into the boss room and I see not one, but two of the bosses I’ve grown to call “Internet Cats”.
I really hate those things.
Read people around talking about the jellyfish. Foolish thing didn’t connect a single attack but distracted one of the bosses long enough for me to take the second under half HP.
It was enough to get it done.
[30 vigor + endurance voice] idk what the big deal about radahn was, went down in like 3 tries
actual helpful advice if anyone is still stuck
i beat him with pure melee (cold lordsworn straight sword and a greatshield) by getting all the initial summons up on foot (dodging or blocking arrows as needed) then using the horse to close in. get under him and work those ankles, making sure he stays frozen. keep the pressure up even if you’re getting hurt (i found myself in a swing swing block, swing swing get hit, swing swing dodge kinda rhythm so i just healed when it made sense) because you wanna maximize your damage output while the summons are still alive. run perpendicular to his descent on horseback to dodge the meteor, resummon if possible, then reapply the “stick to his ankles” tactic til he drops
Alternate strat: get rot breath, summon all the help you can, beat him without ever actually hitting him.
I definitely love how much this game supports absolute clown strats.
how dare you
Oh I am very much in clown town, and I love it.
STARSCOURGE RADAHN slayed in TOURNEY OF CHAMPIONS by FART WARIO
One completely optional boss, I summoned two people for, and one dude just tanked and hit just enough to keep the attention of the boss, and me and the other person just dragon belched all over the boss. It was glorious.
…
i got like 1 - 2 hits within beating Radahn oh well.
i guess i really do need more vigor
i summoned some guys to help with Mohg, they got naked and then started jumping on top of some suspiciously spaced graves over and over until one finally made it onto a nearby wall, allowing him to run into the boss arena before I passed through the fog gate. he wailed on the motionless Mohg until his lifebar was gone and then I entered the arena and autowon the fight.
True heroes
Friends… What if a skeleton had a big sword?
If it were possible I’m sure someone would have tried it before. Colour me sceptical
I’ve been hearing rumours that the late game is unbalanced because external testers were never actually able to reach it organically so realistic leveling and load outs were never tested except by QA who’d played like 3,000 hours. No idea if it’s true but I would believe it
Kinda hate this game for unexplainable reasons. I’ll keep playing Sekiro for now.
