this game is so dumb that I bought it because my friend asked me to. I don’t like elden ring, I don’t like roguelites, I don’t like extraction shooters. what could go wrong?

idk, seems like an extraction shooter to me, but I haven’t really been following it much. do you extract anything? there has to be loot, right. other than that, you pick a map, hot drop in with a team, have a time limit, do a lot of PvE, advance some kind of meta game with successful runs. presumably you don’t lose gear if you die though, I probably would’ve heard about that.

Choosing to believe this is another quirked out From Soft masterpiece until I have firsthand experience that proves otherwise…I bet the multiplayer is just too hardcore and revolutionary for the mooks in the game press to get it…

I hope the Can’t Wake Up song plays in the title screen, and the game completely obliterates any expectation that this is “more Elden Ring”.
