Tarnished Archeologist’s delivery and writing improves considerably as the series progresses.
His last videos in that list about the great flood theory are some of my favorites.
My partner had a great time watching me play these games and got really into the lore. We spent a lot of time just looking at stuff trying to figure out the why and how of it. These vids were a perfect companion.
The exploration aspect of this game is so strong compared to anything else Ive ever played its forever in its own classification of media for me.

The Nightreign launch trailer just dropped (Elden Ring 2, at last…?)
And the line “the nightfarers, the will to cross the endless night and fight on… til every shred of their being is ground away” just makes me think of the kind of state sweaty matchmaking games can shape players into lol

Picked it up myself. I hope it’s fun enough to play with randos or solo, cause I never feel motivated these days to organize time to play games online with my friends. I fear I may just refund this one after an hour or two, but I’d like to enjoy it!

Hmm right, I was thinking of coordinating a game with one friend and filling in the remaining slot with a random, but it looks like the password-based matchmaking system won’t support that…

from what i’ve seen in some youtube videos there’s also a lobby system but idk if they let you “fill” with randoms there either?
