āHalf-life SUCKS⦠or does it?ā
10 minutes for 1 episode is such an indictment of the shortcomings of this episode
The ādigital futureā with games you bought unavailable for download already happening is so⦠annoying
Itās annoying but in the same way, if someone Project Mayhems all the Steam servers Iāll finally feel free again~
@BLUE_BLACK_PURPLE itās light so I canāt post in the other thread aparently??
I like Chocolate Doom a lot, personally. It gets the closest to how the games originally looked and played on a modern system, and the setup is really easy.
And if you donāt have any need to support the more elaborate features some mods need, I dunno why youād use anything else. The gameās graphics look way better as originally designed than all shineyed up.
Oh, and itāll work for Doom and Doom 2!
Chocolate Doom it is then! Thanks for the advice. And yeah, I just want to play the originals again, not interested in mods atm
If you do need more elaborate features, crispy doom is a fork of chocolate doom that has those added features
Edit: I keep both installed and switch between them depending on what I intend to play.
ZDoomās enhanced graphics have always looked awful and I used to judge people harshly for talking it up. Doom Legacy used to be it for me.
Q1 engines were a similar story.

This reminded me to check the universal paperclips window I opened four hours ago.

Now thatās a big number.
Iām shocked there isnāt a Quake 2 Generations weapon model there.
the interpolated anime of video games
Just 86e15? I donāt even remember how to count that low
That gives me the idea to make one of these games that transitions to scientific notation, and then to knuth arrow notation. The false ceiling of assuming the game canāt possibly go higher than 1e10000000 or so would be amazing
