that’s what i got, but i know you have at least one of those (because i bought it for you) and I think that you were the one who recommended Morphblade. Maybe?

Minecraft Dungeons is not on sale, which stands out to me personally because i feel like it’s at that point in the lifecycle where you would discount the base game and then sell the (hugely inflated in price) DLC to a bunch of new people. But what do I know.

diablo 2 resurrected is 40% off

That’s a good point, so I wonder if Microsoft’s Game Pass strategy impacts their Steam discounting, since it’s a low-cost entry point. They advise Game Pass games to have DLC ready from day one and use expansions to keep the community going. In a lot of ways it’s similar to how Paradox is trying to manage their expansion pack strategy, to get everyone caught up to a base game cheaply and make it on the expansions. They’re dealing with unintentional purchase complexity and a growing sense of FoMO from their DLC list that they’re hoping to fix with a subscription, but that’s a tough sell for a single publisher.

According to a video review by Shmup Junkie, the Switch version has 4.5 frames of delay in Progear ( https://youtu.be/tbvE18QK5OA?t=3474 )–he notes that this was about the best performing of all the games–and 7 in Gigawing ( https://youtu.be/tbvE18QK5OA?t=3690 ), which he notes is what he also measured for Gigawing on Dreamcast.

So, I suppose those aren’t actually too bad, relatively speaking.

The talk on shmups.com Capcom Arcade Stadium 2 Announced (GunSmoke, ECO Fighters) - Page 9 - shmups.system11.org seems to be that lag and stuttering in some of the worst games got improved with a patch released after that Shmup Junkie review, and that the later PS4 version isn’t horrible but isn’t great as far as delay goes.

I suppose I take shmups.com with a grain of salt given that the posters there don’t seem to bother trying their own delay testing with actual numbers, and seem to view Hamster’s ACA NEOGEO ports as a gold standard comparable to M2 ports, whereas my rough tests show ACA NEOGEO fighting game ports as having a frame or two of delay more–on my set-up–than the best console ports (the best ones including ports by M2, which ARE actually arcade-perfect in terms of input delay).

Arcade Stadium uses MAME for emulation. A MAME dev mentions a few additional challenges it had that affected performance, though: Reddit - Dive into anything

Arcade Stadium noticeably suffered from having to make their own sound cores (and also from some performance and input lag issues caused by jamming MAME into the middle of Capcom’s RE Engine, but there’s nothing we can do about that)

Oh uh Injustice 2 is on sale for $2.99 on the PS Store. = P

Did a very rough local input delay test on Capcom Arcade Stadium’s Progear and Gigawing on PS4, got about what Shmup Junkie got on Switch: rather specific to my own hardware set-up, I counted 5 frames of lag in Progear, and 7 in Gigawing. 993: Input Lag - Capcom Arcade Stadium PS4 - Progear & Gigawing rough test: 5 & 7 frames of delay - YouTube

My game pass lapsed a couple of weeks ago so I went looking for the current hot deal

Works out to $2/mo. for a new subscriber or $2.40/month for a lapsed subscriber

I know @HOBO mention something about Turkey but I didn’t turn anything up

I definitely got my value out of it last time when I got three years for twice this price

That’s a slightly better deal than being in Turkey (buying a Turkish Xbox Live Gold key and using a VPN to redeem it, then converting to Game Pass)

WARNING: DON’T USE THE XBOX CLOUD STREAMING TO PLAY XBOX 360 GAMES UNLESS YOU WANT YOUR XBOX LIVE AVATAR TO TURN INTO A CATGIRL (Check Worst Images thread for more details)

I got the $1 for 3 months deal even though I was a lapsed subscriber for all of 12 hours, your mileage may vary tho
