I don’t know if it’s been covered, but Costco sells Nintendo eShop cards for 10% off so, when combined with Nintendo’s voucher program, new digital games come out to about $45 (assuming you want to buy two within a year).

I’m trying to figure out the best way to play Nintendo’s B titles on the cheap over here and this seems like less of a hassle than buying and reselling.

Apparently they accidentally revoked all keys bought from this bundle.

They’re working on a fix.

Edit: It reappared in my library. Scary that this can be done though!

Never seen that before.

I don’t like it.

I’ve only had that happen once, but it worked out in my favor (Razer had a price error on RE8 Gold on Steam, revoked the keys without any explanation, I did a chargeback and got my money back, they sent me another key as an apology).

There was also the time I bought the digital season pass for Dying Light for PS4, since GameStop had an error where the $20 season pass redeemed the full game. They then sent an apology email for sending me the wrong code, and sent me the season pass, too.

More companies should just “be cool” about these things…lookin’ at Humble being not so humble and canceling my Under Night 2 and Gundam Breaker 4 orders they goofed on…

There’s a lot of interesting stuff on there right now imho, also including Ghost Song, Cursed to Golf and Ynglet

There’s also some real trash I’m excited to check out without spending money like Industria

Pretty solid Humble Choice this month, also has a 20% off coupon for Metaphor, too.

what’s the deal with humble choice? is it like game pass but u keep the games each month?

Sorta. They’ve been kinda wishy washy lately about their Humble Choice Library thing, where you get access to what I guess is some of their own published games. I think your access to those particular games do hinge on continued membership.

Mostly, they just sell a bundle of 8 Steam games a month for about $12, yours to keep. Usually there are one or two good ones, and the rest are either…“duds” isn’t fair, but I’m not big on a ton of 4X or survival or deck builder games.

This month though, they’ve got, uh:

  • Remnant 2
  • Persona 5 Strikers
  • Jusant
  • Dome Keeper
  • Jack Move
  • Station to Station
  • Remnant Records
  • McPixel 3

I dunno, worth it for me for Remnant 2 and Jusant alone, but I’ve heard good things about Dome Keeper and Jack Move.

Anyway! The last few months almost got me to cancel, but they got me again this month…

$12 on top of the subscription?

Oh, I think if you subscribe annually or whatever you should be good? I just pay month by month.

No, the subscription is to get the monthly games.

Edit: This looks like a list of past Humble Choice games each month: Humble Choice

It’s a hodgepodge of older AA/AAA-ish games, older popular indie games, and old-to-recent moderately-known games (whatever that means in 2024). As someone who doesn’t pay as much attention to or buy that stuff on release, it’s a decent way to catch up on stuff people talked about a year ago.

The sub also gets you access to the Humble Library which has a pile of stuff you can download the exes of and keep including Oh Deer!, subserial Network, and urnogg.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that. And I think someone already mentioned the Humble app that’s more like gamepass in that it rotates games in and out available through the application. The 8 games a month, the Humble Library (.exes), and the Humble App are all included as part of the Humble Choice subscription.

I forget, can you sub for a month to just get the current line-up, or is it a “sign up for the next month and hope you get lucky” deal?
