And Metal Black? Sure I’ll give Square Enix 5 dollars.
Aw dang, Takatsuna Senba’s OTHER game, Gun Frontier (western name: “Gun & Frontier”), my favorite shmup by far, ISN’T on sale. Oh well it’s probably better enjoyed via PCSX2 from Taito Memories: Gekan where you can explore the extreme shmup masochism, bizarre parody, and lovely aesthetic through save states. ^ _^
It’s on sale in Japan? May be a Japan only sale until the stores refresh.
Oh! Nice. : )
Worms Armageddon is currently $2.99 on Steam, until the 25th, the day before Digital Eclipse’s “Anniversary Edition” comes out.
OH the Anniversary Edition is currently listed as console-only, hmph.
There’s a brand that fell off hard.
The Crew 2, which is getting an offline mode for preservation or whatever is currently one dollar on Steam, Epic, XBL, PS, etc if you don’t mind logging into an ubisoft account
I had a great time turning off all notifcations and radio calls and just driving around America for a few hours in The Crew 2.
Edit: I did also try “the game” and went Why Would Anyone Do This?
The funniest thing about The Crew 2 is that it tries to do the Forza Horizon festival thing, but where FH is kind of eye-rollingly corny, The Crew 2’s dialogue comes off as wholly alien and insincere.
It is kinda fun to fly a plane and then just swap and plummet to the ground in a car.
I had more fun int he Crew 2 than most forzas because it’s it feels more direct with the forshortened world.
Drive here, do a race, get a new vehicle. Nothing can stop you. Keep driving flying or boating. It’s just … go.
It’s very easy to ignore everything else, and I appreciate a game about freeform momentum.
This English-translated spiritual successor to Boku No Natsuyasumi is apparently out, and it’s 54% off:
Anyone here tried this out? I’m very tempted.
Apparently it was first released in Japanese only and then it recently quietly got an English patch with no marketing around it, so I guess that’s why nobody’s talking about it.
I haven’t played it but it looks very visually unappealing
I think this is the largest discount that Dragon’s Dogma 2 has seen yet
this discount got me to grab it earlier. it seems good! not boku 2 good, but enjoying seeing what a modern one of these is.
dq treasures is on sale atm:
it’s still kinda pricey for what seems a fairly thin game. did anyone here think much of it?
I haven’t played it but for what it’s worth Tim Rogers praised it pretty highly on the Insert Credit podcast.
@VastleCania liked it I think.
half off (4.99 USD here) Dragon Blaze port on Steam
The shooter of riding the dragon’s back.
you can hop off the dragon too
