what if I didn’t buy the controller though
Good news, you can still be a depraved sicko and enable the control mode where jump is mapped to up.
You could spend a dollar and change on a candy bar from a vending machine, but you oughta spend it instead on the Lotion Samurai games on Steam.
Hey all, only 10 bucks to start a journey Save 50% on The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky on Steam
not sure how this translates to the rest of the world, but Wanted: Dead is £3.49 on cdkeys: Wanted: Dead | PC | CDKeys
PSVR 2 is $350 in the US Playstation store until August 6th.
The PC adapter and Steam PSVR 2 support both hit right around that time as well.
Is there any reason to get one once sony patches gt7?
GT 7 is my reason. I’m not sure about other games. It might be cool to replay RE8 in VR.
I don’t think this was mentioned here before but Tactical Nexus went free to play a month back:
I know a few people here got really deep into it, I think the plan now is to make money on the DLC (which is pricey) but the base game alone can seemingly occupy folks for a few hundreds hours itself.
Tactical Nexus is what “YEAH! YOU WANT ‘THOSE GAMES,’ RIGHT? SO HERE YOU GO! NOW, LET’S SEE YOU CLEAR THEM!” wants to be.
strongers are waiting (for free)!
Tropico 4 free for another day on GoG
Weapon of Choice is free on Steam for the next few weeks
No clue if it is good but I enjoyed their later game Pig Eat Ball a ton, so figure it’s at least worth a shot.
Happy to see Mommys Best Games, who got started on XBLA, still out there doing a thing.
They recently ported a bunch of their old games to Switch, and the button inputs are all either based on the Xbox 360 or refer to keyboard bindings. Quick and dirty but still playable!!
Weapon of Choice is rad though. Bizarre weapons, weird way of getting around the huge branching levels. I gotta check out that Serious Sam game they made that’s kinda similar.
Both Myth Bearer and Deep Rune went free a week or so back and I’ve recommended both games on here before. Each one takes the basic Magic Tower idea and puts them in slightly different games than they usually are, each is probably only a few hours long for a full run (Deep Rune is built for multiple runs if one wants) so definitely worth a shot if they strike one as interesting at all.
I think this thing goes on sale every week now for $30, but as someone who does nearly all their gaming either on the Switch or the Steam Deck these days, it’s worth it.
You gotta update the firmware to make it compatible with those two, but it takes all of a minute and it’s very handy as a portable dock.
Cheaper (though bigger) than a Genki Dock, but I’ve had fewer issues with it, so!
I bought that with my ROG Ally and it hurts to know that is half off regularly.
Works pretty well, though. I love just having one cable into my machine.
Dinorex and 9 other Taito Arcade Archives are on sale but definitely buy Dinorex that game fucking owns.
This is also how I found out Dinorex is on Arcade Archives.
