finally an open world game that accepts my pig-headedness at taking the worst possible rpute
Whenever you clear an area of mules, friendly porters will start to appear and will remain after that. The game will actually tell you this in status messages and e-mails. What it doesnāt tell you is if you give them likes they may offer you some of their stuff.
Unrelated but the cargo you get from the first delivery from the chiral artist to the junk dealer (you know the one) triggers a special scene if you stop at a hot spring.
Also holy moly, the zip lines you get at the beginning of chapter 5 really change your delivery route options quite a bit. Wasnāt sure at first because they do take a bit of work to set up, but theyāre really nice.
has anyone observed that sam is like a post modern trucker and the EX grenades are literally trucker bombs
has anyone besides me figured out the double jump or am i just an idiot
also if you hit 0 stamina and piss without resting youāll get piss-blood grenades

One of the most insidious dystopian elements in this game is how, fearing commentaries from the UCA team that scrutinizes everything he does, Sam never pees in the shower
people hailing this as an art game whe it couldve been the first gsme you hear someone take a shit and its not meant for comedy
I love this stupid game. Itās not beating Kingdom Hearts 3 (itās much quieter for one.) the slow drip drip of new equipment is almost a player breaker, and then it isnāt. My actual complaint is that at least in the main story I havenāf had to use my tools in a super interesting way. Then again I havenāt set off to do so yet.
I feel like this is maybe actually intended to be a black comedy
I saw the prompt once but that was it.
It all strikes me as rather David Lynch, except more sardonic.
You have to be moving fast and be relatively unencumbered. The window is extremely short; you basically have to double tap jump to get it to work. It gives you a tiny bit more height and a decent amount of distance.
After doing it you donāt seem to get the prompt if you jump again immediately so I think it has a cooldown too.
I just mean, Kojimaās sensibility in general.
certainly except david lynch never goes to such pains to overexplain anything in his films
but it definitely has the same attitude
I mean, each has a different creative tic. But both have this deliberately stilted manner. Itās hard to know what the hell Lynch is ever thinking, but the gas leak dialogue is a constant for him even with what would normally be highly expressive actors. Itās what he wants, obviously. Why, thatās⦠up for interpretation. Kojima seems more transparent in that heās clearly entertaining himself with the just-short-of-cogent doublespeak, but the effect is similarly baffling.
I like to see artists indulge if theyāre clearly having fun with it.
I donāt know what counts as āfunā for David Lynch, but. Uh. One can be broad in oneās application here.
Shall not strand a single ground.
