Dougie is what I thought of when I made Norman Reedus yell HELLOOOO
I think you might have to have the speed skeleton as well but I’m not sure.
Nope, you can do it fully unequipped! I think there’s a weight limit which is some fraction of your total, so the skeletons let you do it with more cargo.
Yeah speed skeleton is likely a must. Today I used that plus the long range truck and just made a ton of deliveries. Went back to the first area and made a ton more and found a couple more preppers and even got two of my clients up to five star status. You get a star on your thigh under the Bridges logo for every client you reach 5 stars with. Still in episode 4 but I found the editor of Famitsu who at three stars gives you a timefall resistant backpack cover. I want everyone to give me five stars.
Are there hidden prepers?
End of Chapter 3 and 4
The Junker and then Fragile’s bullshit was a real double punch of awful feeeemmmale writing. So glad they had some guy and a Japanese actress give this long terrible reunion. Her dancing with that hourglass drifted into comedy as it reached the 90 second mark.
Kojima Productions deciding to do a reverse Quiet. A woman…cares about their body.
I was on the phone for the beginning of Chapter 5 and missed most of Moma’s silique and that was for the best with what I was catching. Ghost devil baby???
still in Chapter 2. Game really makes me wanna go hiking
Yeah, she was waiting for a c-section in a hospital when it got bombed, and was pinned in the rubble when she gave birth to an already dead baby who was instantly a ghost. Said ghost baby got her saved by crying really loud so the people digging out the rubble could find her . It’s weird.
Also re: the Junker in Chapter 5 they are 100% separating and basically getting divorced?.
The interview about the world becoming asexual is a Thing.
Dragon Quest wants to tell a story in a sentence. Death Stranding wants to tell a story with a glossary and citation.
Yeah. Go to the map screen and click the right stick to see the chiral network. Areas that haven’t been connected yet have a prepper there somewhere you haven to found yet.
Never forget the MGS4 wiki app.
it sucks you can’t spotify while you play this
On the other hand, you can’t contact/contract a prepper unless you’ve got a delivery for them, plus their shelters are already on the map, so they aren’t really hidden. As long as you get some more stars from their nearest distro centers they’ll eventually be added to your delivery list.
That being said I was surprised to learn some people have finished the game without getting the trucks, which basically means ignoring the junk dealer after the first delivery, so I guess not everyone’s invested enough in the preppers to get to know the surroundings.
Still on chapter 5, didn’t have time to play yesterday but still great.
I really love how the game just takes preppers to the logical conclusion of ‘angry people who live in holes who can’t survive without amazon deliveries but insist they are completely independent of anyone else’.
Really tempted to try to build a zipline across the mountains tonight.
That is, btw, quite a hike and I loved it.
I want to build ziplines everywhere. The test one I made to go from South Knot to the timefall farm was incredibly satisfying. I just wish the map would indicate its scale, so I could better plan them. Or maybe it does and I missed it? Same question for the trucks, in fact, is the max weight or volume indicated anywhere?
can roads be built in the first area? i’m guessing all the pavers are at predetermined spots.
No roads in the first area, at least not last time I checked. But it’s much flatter and smaller in the first place. The roads’ real benefit is you ignore power consumption as long as you’re in the middle lane.
Although the thing I really dig about them is the accurate signage.
